I was fishing the Wisconsin river last Sunday…. Looked at a boat of three guys near me and thought “ that looks like Tom Boley’s new boat “. Guess that was you 😂.
Not sure where you're at, but if you want to give Petenwell a shot I have our family cabin up there on the Lake. You guys would have a place to stay if you give us a decent heads up we could make it happen. I was pumped to see you fishing this stained water as that's what i'm always working with up there.
I look foward all year to a jig minoow bite in shallow water i troll all year but one thing i never get sick of is rod in hand feeling that tug iv cought thousands of walleye in my life and jig fishing never gets old thanks for the good quality videos
Tom you are the man! The app looks cool and I wish you good luck with it. The concept sounds great. Unfortunately i had some health problems and not only will I not have the money to upgrade my electronics but most likely will never be able to fish again. We all wish we had more time but life is short! Enjoy and wishing you the best for the app!
Hello Tom, I have just about watched almost every video you have created, great work. On your new app, is this new content of just an arrangement of the videos you have already created.
Might be a dumb question I’ve always been told to tie direct to a jig head instead of using a snap but, I saw Tom had a snap on his jig head does it increase the action is it better to use a snap?
I’ve been personally dabbling with both and haven’t noticed much of a difference, been catching fish both ways. Another bonus of a snap is being able to get through a lot of baits in a shorter time frame to get dialed in. I just use the real small ones for jigs.
Walleyes don’t have too good perception for small details, but they do see color very well. A small lock isn’t visible and doesn’t kill the action really, except for small and light hard baits.
@@DirtyMardi interesting to know they see colors well. Had done some research on the subject and couldn’t find much other than they see reds, greens, and blues but blue often looks black to them. But if what you’re saying is true then colors really would make a difference in different situations. I always thought colors to just be another selling point for Artificial bait manufacturers. Thanks for the great advice 👍
Glad to see your involvement with scheels. Maybe time for a rod switch? Hope you give the scheels series one rods a try. Would like to see how they compare. I have a series one limited that I am really liking.
Similar question with the V-rod bate. Direct tie, snap, or doesn't matter? What color jig head do you seem to get the best results with when using the 2.8 tickle shad? I went to 2 Fleet Farm locations and 1 Scheels and they were ALL sold out of the V-rod Maverick color!!! Tell them to order more please Tom😊
Good afternoon I have a question about the prower pole on your boat. I have the same motor set you have on the back of my boat and want to add the power pole but wondering if you still keep your step with your setup.
Thanks for the spring walleye and jig size/technique for each education, Tom. Ice should be out in northern Michigan buy the end of the week. No nights below freezing, lot’s of rain the past couple days and more rain coming. No keeping walleye until the end of the month though. I can still take my 10ft Jon boat out and go for some big perch and crappie though. Great catch guys!
Great seeing all you trickz(never mean disrespect. Its just what i do. Call ppl tricks. But i mean it with thee utmost respect). Thanks again for the info. Also. Would like to see you in the metro area in the Twin Cities. And see how you do with the well known extremely tough metro walleye bite. Any who. Thanks again.
I always bothers me when fisherman stick their fingers into the gills of a fish. Stop doing that!! Ive caught more fish in my life than in that river, and I've never done it.

Good info as always. Codos on being mentioned in In-Fisherman mag this month in the crankbait article.
Working for Canadian citizen now... I just download it now. Thank you very much!
“Are we huggin each other already?” 😂 Tom your awesome and you’ve helped my fishing game so much! Thanks bud! 🐟
Great video! Reminds me of fishing WR in Nekoosa. Miss being able to get in the boat early spring.
I'd love to see you come and fish for walleye on inland lakes and rivers in Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.
Nice to see you guys on my home waters!
Thanks guys. Nice video. Sitting here with a broken ankle watching your awesome video gives me hope. LOL.
Great show guys!
Nekoosa 🔥. Whitebass city… petenwell is one of Wisconsin’s fish factory systems for sure
Cross the pond fellas. Detroit river is a must if you haven't been there. I enjoy the river content when you put it out. Keep up the grind👍
Great information! Take me along next time! 🤞🏻
Looks like a blast! Keep grinding guys. Love the content! 👌

I like the awkward authenticity at the ending lol! Cool vid
Always great content Tom! Good to see Mo, Curly and Larry in the boat! Always a class act!

You can change jig sizes faster instead of Tying over and over. Current will give it all the action needed.

Dream team out there for sure 👑👑
Great vid and waiting on the droid fix up here in Canukastan! On a side note going to be iffy if we have open water for opening day!
Tom, what is your stance on pulling crankbaits with a bottom bouncer? The reason I ask is I have a tiny boat and just spinning rods.
Samantha Siemens vs Shelby for the biggest walleyes. Produce and direct Tom and Jay.
And Tom wins first fish award!
Great video 👍 thanks ,, I think Tom should dye his beard green an gold 🇨🇦🎣
What speed was the river moving at? Great video!
Bass and walleye are finally moveing up but fishing seasons closed for us ☹️
Glad to see your involvement with scheels. Maybe time for a rod switch? Hope you give the scheels series one rods a try. Would like to see how they compare. I have a series one limited that I am really liking.
Liking the microphone add!

Phenomenal content!!
Tom love the videos. One day I want to do what you do. As a young kid what do I do.
Good afternoon I have a question about the prower pole on your boat. I have the same motor set you have on the back of my boat and want to add the power pole but wondering if you still keep your step with your setup.
Tom do you tie a clinch or loop knot on your jigs?
Great video. Do your electronics work in this type of water? Side scan or 360 or is it too shallow?
And what was water temp?
Thanks

You Should go fish on the St Lawrence River.
Would have been cool if you could have demonstrated the walleye now app in real time in this video while on the river
Mitchell!!!
What length rods and power using jig Kalin tickle tail
I have a Question also Tom....Hope you answer Jared Question. Tie direct or use snap??? Like your videos, very informative.
Doesnt matter too much....the reason I did that was I was constantly switching jig weights.
@@TomBoley Thought that might be your reason. Thanks for the response.
What’s your rod choice you would use?
looking at adding some more rods, what length and action you using in this video?
?
Beautiful Tom!
Anyone know what part of the Wisconsin river in central Wisconsin he’s on?
Beautiful!!! 🤩
Is Mitchell the only one that gets his fish netted??😉😅
Nice
Are you marking fish?
99K!
I can't stand living in Nebraska. I'm for sure moving back to Wisconsin
They start fishing at 4:58
if I pay for rhe premium, will I get the locations of where you're fishing???
Dam strait! He will buy your bait too “:)

Need less Mitch...more Shelbster. Lol.
sorry tom , its not a dream team without shelby .
No it’s not the dream team without tom’s dog surly in the boat !!!
I always bothers me when fisherman stick their fingers into the gills of a fish. Stop doing that!! Ive caught more fish in my life than in that river, and I've never done it.
Too many dudes in the boat.
show a little more excitement lol.
