I come into Louisiana and hunt the Rapides/Grant Parish area. This last season has been the toughest. The previous drought made it that way I believe. Across the state, and especially down in the southern area, we heard the same stories. As a matter of fact, all the work we put in, and the first deer I harvested this year, was on a reserve, during bow-only season. Outside of that, it was a REAL struggle last season!! YES! Alright Alright Alright 👍 great job! Congratulations on an Illinois stud. our farm is in Union County. had a few shooters pass by not in my comfort range though. Our neighbor killed a nice 8 chocolate around this same time frame bordering our farm. Congratulations!
Anything, if too obsessed, can be a cruel master... but a wonderful servant in moderation.. Just keep the balance healthy.. chase anything too hard and the next thing you know, you become its slave.. awesome whitetail. hard work certainly pays off!! Congrats! Keep on keeping on
I’ve shot rage for about 9 straight years through all of there design changes and I pull 70# 30inch draw shoot anywhere between 450-500 grain arrow and I’ve never not had a arrow pass through a deer on a broadside shot.
I don't know how you don't get a pass through at that range. I get a pass through at 40 yards shooting mechanicals. What's the typical bow set up for close range tree stand whitetail hunting?
Nah he won't neither will I never had a single issue with rage. Nap killzone max never fully opened on impact on a doe I shot very disappointed so I went back to ole trusty rage trypan.

I hunted PA first time last year and saw 8 bucks opening weekend 4 were shooters all on state land.

South Louisiana is probably the hardest hunting anywhere. I still hunt around my house but the most part I travel.
