Man you're a 🐐 you've been reviewing as long as Robes and longer than any one I follow lol. I personally don't care what you spray the fragrance out of... samples saved me from spending Thousands 😅

I love it, Brad. I definitely will have a video response, but I do stream. You’re always welcome to join me, on stream we would be able to have a much longer and in-depth conversation about it. As always love what you’re doing here, my friend.

    Samples are best.
I sometimes get bored of a fragrance quickly So it is better to have a 10ml decant or sample that is almost empty rather than an almost FULL Bottle that is hardly used.

I agree with all the points you make. There are basically only three options for a fragrance reviewer - (a) be rich enough to afford a constant supply of full bottles, many of which you'll never touch again; (b) accept freebies from brands, compromising your objectivity; (c) review samples.
Obviously with samples you don't get the presentation and you can't do a long term test, but 10ml is enough for a first impression and a week or two of wearing. If I know and trust a reviewer, I find value in their opinion of a sample.

I might go two steps further and review from UNLABELLED or randomly designated/coded sample vials, attained free of charge. 😄 With an objective non-enthusiast holding the codex, to be revealed only AFTER the review has been posted. Drain half of the sample in one go and review the liquid and nothing else. Otherwise, the presentation and method of acquisition always affects the review. Plus it then becomes a review of the product and value vs the perfume. Something to think about.

I’m gonna start doing reviews, but I’m not even gonna review the samples. I’m just gonna review the caps of the samples. I mean…… it’s the same fragrance, right? 😂
