- This exemption applies to foreign nationals who have
a new or pending application for permanent or temporary residence or a permanent resident visa, made from within Canada
completed an immigration medical exam within the last 5 years and posed no risk to public health or safety, or reported to public health authorities for monitoring, as required
When submitting an application, applicants must provide the unique medical identifier number from their previous medical exam. The temporary public policy will remain in effect until October 6, 2024.

I am applying for my PR AND EXTENDING MY TRV AGAIN.
I did my medical on 2021 to extend my TRV. But recently I was in outside Canada(Bangladesh) for more than 6 months. So do I have to again do my medical as I was outside canada for more than 6 months or I am waved for the medical? Usually the rule is if you are outside canada for 6 months , you need to do medical again if you are returning from specific countries and my country falls into that category . Thanks

If you are inside Canada then you are exempt. If you are outside Canada then you need to do the medicals

Hi Sir, my father missed the 30 days to take the medical and can no longer restore his status cause we just found out that he needed a medical when we were about to apply for another visitor record which is now almost 6 months.

Simply upload your old medical confirmation sheet. You need the UMI number under the bar code.

Problem is, my physician did not give me back the IMM 1017B form as I was told he would upload it himself.

You can apy for change of conditions on your work permit by appearing for medicals and providing your medical report to IRCC
