Usually with any crack of this nature, if you allow it time to sit and let the moisture evaporate the crack will close all or most of the way. This will will allow you to then use banding. IF the crack is still more open than you you want before banding you can use clamping pressure to close it, and then do the banding. You can also put the thin super glue in the crack after banding.
But how do you pressure the very crack together?
And do you fill the very crack with superglue?
