I’ve so happy I found your tutorials. I’ve been crocheting for 52 years and haven’t found any inspiration in quite a while. Mosaic crochet is something I haven’t done so I’m excited to try. It’s also exciting that almost any skill level can do it.

Ok, I just ordered Tunisian crochet hooks and yarn bobbins. I have heard (read?) people say it was easier than it looks, but that didn’t mean it was actually quite simple! Thank you Tinna!!!

Thank you so much!! Your explanation of the pattern & technique is so easy to understand and I am such a visual person it's always easier for me to learn by seeing a stitch done. Now I can learn by watching and hearing you do it then keep the paper pattern for reference & reminder when away from my computer. You are terrific! 5 Stars!

@@TinnaThorudottirThorvaldar I will wait patiently I promise! One... two questions. What weight yarn is this? It looks like 2-3??? What is the hook size you are using? Do you fined you can go up or down a size in your hook if your work is too tight or loose? That was 3 questions sorry.

Thanks for the great tutorial and NO apologies necessary. You live in the tropics! A fan is a necessity. It did not bother me or make the tutorial any less pleasant. You will be happy to know that I just ordered yarn this morning and plan to make a scarf using your Havana Shawl pattern which i purchased ages ago and have been meaning to make. I was using a very light fingering this morning and it was great to practice with but I am taking your lead and ordering the Filcolana. Or I might just start an afghan with the beautiful squares. Right now I just want to knit or crochet relatively mellow patterns...Sorry for the rambling. I hope you and your family and friends wherever they may be are all well and staying well. Many thanks again, Fern in Minnesota, where, by the way, it is snowing! Luckily it is only a dusting. Take care Tinna

Thanks for this tutorial,I ve just received my little box of crochet and there is a project using this stitch ,I’m so very disappointed in their instruction booklet and pattern ,I’m sure it was never tested as they would of realised they needed clear photos and written instructions,if only they used you ,as you explained very simply, and your pattern explains very well .they do say they have a video also but for some strange reason I’m not able to find them so can’t comment on their video
So once again great vid and you have a new subscriber 🙏🏽🇬🇧

Excellent!! Tina. Very awesome tut . I love that you remind the single back stitch and all instructions many times. It's funny at times I hear what you say then I still go about it wrong lol. I know I comment a lot but your doing so great with the videos. The repeats are how we learn many people do know how to do the stitch but you have newbies that is most who do come to your videos. You go Girl.
