    Great build! I suggest you increase your PIFF as this bird is very wobbly up in the air. Properly tuned it becomes way more stable. Great vid - keep it up!

      Maybe some of the wobbling is artifacts from the FPV camera?

      The flight controller provides telemetry to the googles. It also allow allows for return to home function which is a life saver if something goes wrong. Here is a video explaining how its connected. ruclips.net/video/VfWbyaEREnQ/видео.html

    Hey man, great video!
    Question: Did you connect to an FC or how do you power up the O3?

    • @JetJockey_RC
      @JetJockey_RC  4 месяца назад +1

      Thanks for the love! Yes, I am using Matek H743 Flight Controller for this setup.

      @@JetJockey_RC Nice! Do you use the FC for gyro and flight control as well? Inav?

    • @JetJockey_RC
      @JetJockey_RC  4 месяца назад +1

      Great Questions! I am working on the full electronics video for reason very soon that will explain all of this! Yes, the Flight Controller is a computer used to run the Inav software. Inav, just like beta flight, allows for stabilization and return to home features.

      @@JetJockey_RC can't wait for the video!
      I've done up Inav on Speedybee F405 Wing in my 80mm F/A18 to arm the O3 and flight controls but with other planes only a Betaflight based FC just to arm the Vista or O3 (flight controls still using a separate gyro). Have a look at some of my videos and maybe you could have some additional ideas to add to your video (I would be doing a similar video but currently time is too tight).
      I have;
      Volantex 750mm P51-D Mustang with Caddx Vista hooked onto a Lefei gyro which has a connection for DJI (gives non-customisable OSD, flown and still flying)
      FMS 80mm F/A-18 with DJI O3 and Inav on Speedybee F405 Wing (not yet maiden)
      FMS 80mm Rafale with DJI O3 and Betaflight based AIO (not yet maiden)
      FMS 1400mm F4U with DJI O3 and Betaflight based AIO (not yet maiden)
      FMS 1300mm PA-18 with DJI O3 and Betaflight based AIO (flown and still flying)
      FMS 64mm Rafale with Caddx Vista and Betaflight based AIO (crashed and burned)
      Looking forward to see the video and learning how you set up yours!

    What do you guys mean by high voltage , is this the same as C rating?

    • @JetJockey_RC
      @JetJockey_RC  3 месяца назад

      Normal Lipos will charge to 4.20V per cell. So a 2S would read 8.4V fully charged. The newest high voltage marketing/technology allows lipo to be charged to 4.35V per cell. I notice that these packs are much lighter than their same mAh rated normal lipos and pack very slightly more power obviously since voltageis higher at the start. They are also more costly, but the lighter weight and additional power make them a win if you're trying to eek out every it of speed/power you can.

      I basically ignore C rating now adays 😅. These battery companies have use that metric unchecked and uncalibrated for marketing purposes. I look for the highest C I can get, but it's the very last thing I think about when comparing batteries. It's more fair to compare C ratings from the same brand.
