I think the negative stigmas about McDonalds and Burger King in the US comes down to the items people choose to buy there. If you buy the cheapest things on the menu, then you get crap. If you choose to go with something that costs more money, then you approach something decent/good. The problem is people have the expectation that these chains can magically sell you high quality stuff cheap.
It starts like a classic film! "This Capitalist Burger is so unfriendly is almost going to punch me in my face" What a great Line! :D Also, Beautiful selection of music Lisa. Cute KGB Agent Vibes!
Burger King in the UK is my favourite fast food burger, but the salad and the meat look much better than ours. I've always wanted to tour Russia and now I have one more reason.
Prices are very similar to here in the USA. We don’t have that secret ingredient though. I love Burger King , but my wife prefers McDonald’s. I’ve never seen that type of drink though.
Lisa is lovely and has an endearing accent. She can make a tour of a shopping mall food court seem interesting! I prefer a burger chain called "Harvey's" here in Canada though we have Burger King and, of course, McDonalds.
Так и мы ничего плохого не имеем к Вам))))) А слова автора, это всего лишь юмор построенный на американских стереотипах о России, всего лишь самоирония))))
It's a small thing, but something that really demonstrates Russian humour and wit, is now they turned the departed Starbucks, into "Stars Coffee" and the mermaid into a Russian woman wearing an ushshanka with a red star. Very clever.
Hi, I'm an American living in South Central China (Guangxi). I don't have a Burger King near me but, there is a McDonalds within walking distance. The burgers there are pretty much like in the US but, the packaging is better.
Because we are all humans, we are all People of the West and we respond to similar stimuli. Mother Russia is a glorious cradle of civilisation, with good, bad, beautiful and ugly. Never let any establishment promote hate between people ❤
Hi Lisa, to be honest: I don't like the American fast food. For me, this is cheap food, which now, due to inflation, has to be paid dearly. There are better providers. With us in Eastern Germany, you have a kebab restaurant on every third street corner even in small towns. And at least one Asian restaurant. This food just tastes better. In the nineties they almost disappeared, now they are back: Thuringian grill restaurants. There is everything from the bratwurst to bulette, burgers and fries. And many Saxon fast food restaurants again offer the old Soviet Solyanka, really big portion. There is enough choice with us. I only use the American fast food restaurants at night, when everyone else has already closed. At large railway stations they are open 24 hours a day.
Да у нас так же "вкусно и точка" и подобные ей ( макдональдсоподобные заведения) не монополисты, есть шаурма, шашлычные, китайский фаст-фуд, трудно сказать что популярнее
Not renaming Starbucks "czar bucks" is a huge missed opportunity

Loving all the other food outlets especially Chinese, Japanese and traditional Russian which shows that Moscow is truly cosmopolitan!
Loving the serious stern look on your face at the beginning of video reminds me of Immigration Officers at Airports. 😂
Lisa the Investigator keep the good work up! 😊
I don't know English I went to McDonald's in Turkey and it was very uncomfortable for me to explain on my fingers what I wanted because there were no self-service terminals like in Russia.
Lol It's probably part of the franchise agreement, we've been using it in Australia since 2008, no one is copying Russia you pinko commie
Do you live in a cave?
We've had self-service for fast food orders for so long that I don't even remember when it started.
The West will go towards russia... LOL 😂😂
russia is the West from the Temu
@@a.j.3 it's embarrassing watching all these idiots drool over commie propaganda. And she's young enough to be his granddaughter.
Or he lives in a bubble like Tucker Carlson being amazed by the Russian coin op trolleys lol
In Germany Burger king food looks shitty and taste shitty
I love the way you say Burger!! It’s a very harmonic accent!
Starbucks and Burger King are psrt of a Mexican multinational corporation ( ALSEA ), NOT A US OR EUROPEAN CORPORATION..
Lisa on her thing again, She’s funny as heck. 😄😄😄😄❤️❤️❤️
Very interesting history of BK. 85% Communist and 15% Capitalist. Russia says get lost we are not leaving. Food is US is primarily processed so I do not often eat at BK and McD and others. Beautiful park in your video Lisa. 🤩😍❤❤
Burger King uses a Flame Broiler that cooks on a metal conveyor over gas powered flames. The seared meat juices is what gives it that fresh BBQ flavor! I'm glad Russian people managed to bounce back like they did! Not that fast food is necessary but for people all over the world it most likely is essential. I treat myself once and a blue moon rather eat homemade. Looks like a beautiful bright nice and clean mall :) Malls are dying in the US. Food courts are gone in most malls where I live.
Good to see Burger King not playing politics and still operating as original. My St Petersburg niece will be visiting us here in Australia during November, we can’t wait.
Did you hear the story at the end? They wanted to leave Russia but Russian owners said no, if they could leave they would )
@@lisa_with_love oh oops I dropped off towards the end obviously. In Australia we have “Hungry Jacks” instead of Burger King. Same business but different name for varies reasons. Owner of Australia brand took Burger King USA to court and won when they tried to open Burger King branded stores in Australia to compete against his Hungry Jack stores.
@@lisa_with_love By the way we love your honest reporting of every day life in Russia, we in the west have been lacking honest news from Russia.
“Playing politics”.
Jesus, son, do you have any idea why like North Korea and Iran are the last countries left doing business with Russia now? Do you have any working theory about that
@@patster4040 SON. My god get a grip. Son. You have no idea. Thankfully you ain’t related to me. Now run along and get back to Your CNN newsfeed.
I like the tour of other food court foods. That was especially interesting.
Wow, Burger King burgers in Russia look better than the Burger King burgers here in the States.
Probably also doesn't have all the weird chemical bullshit you guys are fed
С первым снегом!
Love Russia and the Russian People
I am a novelist. You cannot have planned this, but you have just given me all the information I need for a scene I must write for a story I am telling. Thank you so much!
Great video as always Vasilisa, are you in Siberia now? Yeah I believe it’s getting back to normal, IKEA is back as well… changing names on the company.. is a way to get away from sanctions rules from Brussels and Al Capone 😊❤ with lots of love ❤️ from Sweden 🇸🇪
No, it is Moscow! The Burger is Siberian because they name it like this in Burger King ))
excellent beautiful good video ok new colour...... 🇧🇩🇧🇩💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
Why isn’t it Burger Czar?
GOOD QUESTION 😆
😂corect
because it should be with Russian bread, beef bacon, pickles and 2m in diameter.
Lisa can do any type of video. Travelling, everyday life, taste food. What an outstanding girl. Thank you for this one, any I will wait for next one.
Welcome....... Russia.... best quality..... O.sadharam beautiful scenery..... thousand wonderful like and love..... 🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩💗💗💗💗❤️❤️❤️💘💘💙💙💙♥️♥️💚💚💚💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
You have the most hypnotic eyes I have ever seen in RUclips 😅
I think the negative stigmas about McDonalds and Burger King in the US comes down to the items people choose to buy there. If you buy the cheapest things on the menu, then you get crap. If you choose to go with something that costs more money, then you approach something decent/good. The problem is people have the expectation that these chains can magically sell you high quality stuff cheap.
Fast food is all crap here.
great video!
I like vloggers like you Lisa that shows how Russia is. nothing like what we hear about from 'sources out side Russia'
Thought the Siberian burger would be musk ox or caribou. That being said that burger looked huge.
What a nice looking place and friendly atmosphere.
I was hoping you would choose the Siberian one!...it does look large, however. I would trust the beef there much more than anywhere else.
I chose Siberian one 👌
I had to listen again to hear you say "burger"....it is totally DELIGHTFUL ! ❤❤❤❤
Prices are very similar to here in the USA. We don’t have that secret ingredient though. I love Burger King , but my wife prefers McDonald’s. I’ve never seen that type of drink though.
No there are not it's like paying 20 dollars in America for the same burger and drink
Definitely a better burger than Australian burgers in McDonald's. It looks like the old whopper from hungry jacks! Back when burgers looked real.
You say burger so cute
Lisa is lovely and has an endearing accent. She can make a tour of a shopping mall food court seem interesting! I prefer a burger chain called "Harvey's" here in Canada though we have Burger King and, of course, McDonalds.
Capitalist angus burger lol, looked tasty. Always liked Burger king better than Mcdonalds.
Forget government's bs, we are friends with Russian people❤
Так и мы ничего плохого не имеем к Вам))))) А слова автора, это всего лишь юмор построенный на американских стереотипах о России, всего лишь самоирония))))
Great video! I would love to wee you make a video with the Belgian waffles, they looked delicious!
Very funny burger punch in your face.
👽💪🤖💪
One of the best meals I ever had was in a mall in St Petersburg. Cool video. Cheers from Nashville USA.
It's a small thing, but something that really demonstrates Russian humour and wit, is now they turned the departed Starbucks, into "Stars Coffee" and the mermaid into a Russian woman wearing an ushshanka with a red star. Very clever.
I never liked the name "Starbucks" For that reason I have never gone to any of their shops here in the used ess aay..
GORGEOUS LISA
3:20 Siberian Chicken burger 🍔🙂
👍👍👍🤗💪
Hi, I'm an American living in South Central China (Guangxi). I don't have a Burger King near me but, there is a McDonalds within walking distance. The burgers there are pretty much like in the US but, the packaging is better.
Why does the burger at the Russian Burger King look more like the commercials in the USA? 😭😭
I DON'T know! I really wanted to try and hear what you think! I never been there in the West 🕵
Because we are all humans, we are all People of the West and we respond to similar stimuli. Mother Russia is a glorious cradle of civilisation, with good, bad, beautiful and ugly. Never let any establishment promote hate between people ❤
Thanks for the video! I wonder why no one fast food chain uses the rye bans for cooking a burger? It could be an original Russian burger😎
writing from USA, personally don't go to fast food chains, that's only when you can't find anything else to eat.
Beautiful mall
Russia 🇷🇺 is economic hub country❤❤❤
Only if...
😂🤣
@Миокардыч did you understand yourself what you said?
So you can select English option on kiosk but the menu items are in Russian?
Russia 🇷🇺 Boycott western product's 😂😂
Russians have been boycotting democracy since 2000.
Russia... Rapidly becoming a beacon of normality in a sea of madness.🇬🇧❤️🇷🇺
The park was very nice.
