I'd love to, but I'm unemployed, Lisa, I see a lot of names is store in English, is it for the tourist that you don't have right now or the Cyrillic script is being replaced bi the Latin one? (OrlandoFlorida)
This video is not monetized cause all animals are equal. But some animals are more equal than others.
I m surprised your love for US dollar has not changed.
Hi Lisa 😁 Thank you for sharing! Now we'll just have to make sure you will be OK on the income side. I believe in you 💯 and your great community of supporters 💞
@@HappyBanyanTree-ui8ip there is nothing to do with the dollar, I use it for the thumbnail to draw attention and convert prices to dollars just for easy understanding because dollar is an international currency
Sounds reasonable as a whole, and very very comparable to the prices here in Sofia, Bulgaria.
However, the inflation of the past 2-3 yrs have eaten a lot of the people's purchasing power, and I think this is valid for most places in the world today.
I lost like 35-50% of my salary purchasing power, because of it.
The only thing, that saves me from not ending the month around the 0 (after covering my routine spending) is the fact, that I own my apartment, since this is my place of birth.
Hello Lisa! Hello from Michigan USA! What an incredible video! THANK YOU for your honesty and opening up your personal life (finances) to help me understand the costs of living in Moscow. I am planning on visiting Moscow next year. I have never encountered such an honest and genuine vblogger as yourself! Your work on Moscow helps me with my classes on learning the Russian language and Russian Culture (then and now) and I appreciate your honesty! Learn the language, get the recipes for the food! LOL!
One day (hopefully with your help) I will figure out this cryptocurrency stuff and will absolutely support you further! Again, thank you for your work! It is incredible and so are you, my dear.

Lisa you're so cute and you're able to capture your cuteness in every aspect of your video.
$25 for all that food is insane I paid $31 for two burgers and fries yesterday like America is fkd. I can't wait to visit Russia. Hopefully, my russian language learning will be up to par by then.
yeah but in usa you can easily earn 30 dollars per HOUR. it always depend where you live and what you do.
if you think a normal person in moscow earn 700-800 euro a month and pay 400 just one room, you see they are even more fked.
yeah but in moscow you can easily earn 30 dollars per HOUR. I live on Baikal, my salary is over 5,000
So you bought burgers from fast food franchize
So you bought two burgers and fries from fast food franchise and you compare these prices whith prices in grocery stores!!! Stupid thing. Go to grocery store and buy ingredients for burgers and cook it at home. In that way you can eat two burgers and fries for a couple of dollars.
It only depends on the salary. If you earn 500 dollars a month, you will suffer with these prices in Moscow.
When you said how much your Internet bill was my jaw dropped I’m paying over $150 a month
35 gigabyte is 7 dollars. Yours 50 megabytes is 150 dollars. United States communications are biggest rip off the people.
And you earn much more.
By the way, the price is approximately €10 in the EU
unlimited mobile internet 8$ a month, Moscow region
@@a.j.3 No. I pay 40 euro for my house connection 100/100 mbit. per month. + 17 eur for me and my kid mobile. I have 100GB mobile. Daughter 5GB.
Russians earn a third on average to average Russian wage. Also your internet has very little restrictions. Unlike Russia. Also you won't to be arrested for making an anti Putin, Kremlin, Russian Gov, Army, destruction of Ukraine comment. Enjoy your much greater freedom.
Very lovely content
THANK YOU

Your rent is way cheaper than I pay in New Zealand. I have a one bedroom unit, probably with the same amount of rooms you have, although it is more modern, and I pay around $US1000 per month, which you say is a general price in Moscow. I live in a town of 50.000 people though, if I lived in a big city it would be a lot more.
Thank you so much, Lisa. Very interesting.
yeah but our average salary in moscow is 1000 dollars at the end of all our expenses we probably have 300 dollars if ur good at managing money
@@kozakgaming2078 In my small town in NZ average salary is about 3,000 US I think. And I think I spend $600-700 a month on food. So I think I get paid 3x a Russian salary and spend about 3x more on food.
@@tanyaroberson9629 it comes down to the same ratio right?
@@kozakgaming2078 I think it does come out as same ratio except I'm in a small town in NZ, and if I was in the city of Auckland there is a housing shortage and apartments are ridiculously expensive.
@@tanyaroberson9629 the whole world is on fire lol at the end we are all humans broke barely getting by :D is new zeland like hobbits i always imagine it like that

Hi Lisa. Life in Russia looks nice. Thank you for showing the scenery. Quick question. At the end you have Lisa's Angels. What is this about?
It's nice if you have a good income. Keep in mind that the average income in moscow is around 800€ per month, so 880/900 USD

💐 Beautiful Lisa thank you this is very informative video for all !

There's a Star Wars Exhibition in Moscow. Cool!

Wow. The groceries are so inexpensive. In Miami, it would cost over 75 plus.

An apartment in Toronto can go often for 3-4 even 5000 a month, In Toronto 6:48

thanks for the vid
Very nice video. I plan to move to Russia (Moscow or Saint Petersburg) in about a year (i'm french) and this type of video is just what i need to gather useful informations about living in Russian big cities… 🙂👍
The renting sounds very similar to western costs, but your costs for internet access is extremely cheap while say for example UK for a 50+ Megabit connectivity will be about 7 times your current connection costs with unlimited downloads per month. The cost of fast food sounds very similar in costs including the fancy restaurants too.
Your mobile phone costs sounds very similar in monthly costs too.
Like anywhere if you goto outskirts of a city or town renting will cost far less, and so if your living costs is within your income well done if you’re able save for buying a home or a car in the future.
So, if you were classed unemployed say on State benefits do you get free healthcare including free dental care, and cost of renting is covered by the State Benefits too?
Good question. You can’t find a big social add in Russia but you have more chance to find a proper job to pay for your needs. Responsible income is not small and living standards is rising every year.
Minimum wage in Russia is 210 dollars a month do you think you can survive with that life is really expensive for most of the Russian residents there.
@@Darklord-mq6ex minimum wage is used to calculate by government for aid and social programs. More objective is a middle income in regions which is 12000-25000 in net per year.
Yes very much good needed info.

My LOVE, you don't need to spend on beauty products... You are absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!

thanks for the information it was very helpful prices and food are so similar to the USA, never been to fancy restaurant the menu is different looks like it has some plant based food and the drinks are amazing love your apartment in Moscow would love to visit you there in future.

Thanks Lisa, It's cheaper over there than here in Australia- That's for sure!
Lisa said Average salary in Moscow is $1000 per month. So how much is you salary in Australia?
I spend less, in Germany.
@@fietereim8190 I believe so, and you are earning probably 3x as much.
@@fietereim8190 If you living out of major cities like Berlin and Munich, life is cheaper in Germany.
@@ladasm594 The difference is not as big as you might believe. Life in Munich is "just" 25% more expensive than the German average and only because of the rents, Berlin 7%, my district 0.2%.

Hi Lisa, thank you for your video with your cost of living in Moscow. I imagine that it depends where you live - same here in America - and the cost of living will change and if you have your own home and car.

I think that life in Moscow is not so expensive as in my country, Italy. I am from northern Italy, in the province of Turin, where the cost of living is much higher!!! Thank you for this info 🍀💕
e allora vai in quel paradiso, sicuramente starai meglio che in quella città triste come torino
В провинциях еда и жильё намного дешевле чем в Москве.
But how much can you earn there on average?
It should be around 4x times more than in Moscow, right.
Thank you Liza. I have never had a chance to visit Moscow. But I will definitely do so in the near future.

@@Darklord-mq6ex Honestly I do not know where such a salary in the sources of information, even a salesman in the solons of cellular communication gets close to 1000$ and this is not even in Moscow, it has always been interesting where this information comes from and what kind of jobs where all the ordinary people work.

@@RusGirlVlog st. Petersburg. Beautiful City!
@@babettefuller4249 I agree. I visited it last summer.
The key to live in a major city is to find a place with a resonable rent. You are very lucky and I would say that a person that is not fluent in Russian would not be able to do that. Maybe you should start a consultancy helping foreign people that want to live in Moscow to find an apartment? The park was wonderful! It reminded me of Greece not just the architecture, but also that the Cyrillic alphabet has many Greek letters in it.
Nice video, greetings from The USA
Moscow is beautiful.

You should clarify that cost of living in Moscow and in other regions it's different.
Groccery prices are not so different if you don't buy it in luxury groccery store. The biggest difference is rent and service(including transport). I am from Novosibirsk, for example, and I visited Moscow this summer
Good video! Learnt something today. How much is your water and electricity?
Lovely video as ever LIsa. I worry about using face ID for things, I remember in the UK the police use that to catch criminals and they found out they got it wrong in 70% of cases😂
Hello Vasilisa; the US dollar goes much further in Moscow than it does in US, for example, I just had a bunch of dental work done, and paid $220 per filling, and $1500.00 per crown; I would recommend You at least get local Anistasia (novocane); another Nice day in Moscow; Thank You for All.
$25 for all of that!? Good lord, here in the Midwest of the US, not even an expansive city like New York, or Los Angeles, those groceries are still pushing $100
The gym membership is a little less than gyms in my area, but not far off.
Internet bill is about $80/month for 300mbps, phone bill is around $30/month for a cheap unlimited plan.
I'm so relieved to know you're okay. Thank you for your uplifting videos.
Not bad at all, cheaper than USA!
Thanks for the update!
When a Russian makes about the equivalent $1200 US dollars a month, grocery prices are NOT cheap. Comparing grocery prices without considering cost of living is meaningless.
Come to Morocco, it’s warmer here and cheaper 😊
I love you 😘
dont compare what u make in a month for salary some people make that in a week and others make thar in 3 days,,,

Hi lisa make video on Decree immigration cityzenship which new law passed by Russia govt to ease the cityzenship & PR
People who are intrested to live russia they can live by applying temporary residence& people who want to seek asylum and refugee can also apply for Cityzenship easy now
This law is passed yesterday 1 day ago
Pls make video about this
Very bad idea! The mobilization of Russian men for the war effort and the mass exile of 3 million Russians to the West ended up bringing Russia's internal economy to its knees. The government is in dire need of manpower, which explains these administrative facilities for temporary residents. But the future remains bleak!
Interesting. How do you pay your bills? Do you have a job? How much do you make a month? Thanks for sharing 😊

I pay $1250 45 miles west of Chicago. I think I might have to retire in Moscow. 🤔
It is necessary to understand that Lisa rents an apartment, if a person lives in his own apartment then there are no expenses of $400 $1000... Such owners in Russia are the absolute majority. Renters are emigrants who have not yet bought their own housing or are in Russia temporarily. Unskilled workers usually receive $500-800 in Moscow, skilled workers $1000-1500, but there are many people with an income of $2000-3000. In addition, salary is not all income. Shares, stock market play, futures, personal projects, etc.
If you consider Saint Petersburg for living, you can save a lot.
Very interesting! 🥸
I noticed that novelty drinks, coffee and boba aren't that much cheaper in Russia than anywhere else. Good business idea.
Without stating how much you earn monthly your outgoings have no context. The quality of service you get for the tax and bills you pay is also of great relevance.
Taxis I presume would be the more variable cost especially for a tourist. Taxis in most countries have a notorious reputation for taking advantage of riders , especially tourists
if tourists use the same taxi app as we do, then there's no difference in fee
