get your visas in the US from the Russian Embassy in DC. We made it into Russia through Narva last summer, and we found Estonian authorities - not the Estonian people - pathologically Russophobic. The Russian Embassy in Tallinn also had fences, protest signs, etc. around it.
I can’t tell you for sure, but what I think is that if you are staying in Estonia as just tourists then you may not be eligible to apply for a Russian visa in Estonia as U.S. Citizens. However, if you have a more solid status in Estonia or in any of the E.U. Countries ( like a work or a student visa or any other kind of temporary or permanent residency ) then you’re welcome to apply to a visa at the Russian Embassy in Estonia.

Thank you for your video from Moscow. It is nice to see the city, since I would not travel as a German- American to Russia at the present time, while Russia is involved in a war. But hopefully in the future it will be better again. It's not necessarily that we're too scared of visiting Russia and Russians are probably very nice people. But in the current political climate, it's better to stay at home. Also: You have to keep in mind that this is Moscow and not the province. I suggest you visit a city like Chelyabinsk or something, where the standard of living is vastly different, than that of Moscow.
I've been to many places in Russia and of course there are trash areas and depressing looking commie blocks and I will show some of that. But people in the west need to see that Russia can be modern and efficient too.

It's not necessarily that we're too scared of visiting Russia and Russians are probably very nice people. But in the current political climate, it's better to stay at home. Also: You have to keep in mind that this is Moscow and not the province. I suggest you visit a city like Chelyabinsk or something, where the standard of living is vastly different, than that of Moscow.
I've been to many places in Russia and of course there are trash areas and depressing looking commie blocks and I will show some of that. But people in the west need to see that Russia can be modern and efficient too.
