The main purpose of PTA is to allow you to tweak your Prepar3D config & shaders resulting in the ultimate, aesthetically pleasing (eye-catching), virtual flight experience. Basically, it'll look INCREDIBLE.
Using PTA, you can apply tweaks in a fast and convenient way without manually editing files or any of that other confusing rubbish. As a famous Flight Simulation development company once said - it's "Complexity Simplified".

Recently bought PTA for V4 and i'm thoroughly impressed with it the amount of depth you can enter into creating the perfect graphical preset is amazing. I would have to say money well spent.
If matt continues like this he will be an absolute legend in the community very soon

Matt, I purchased PTA and your offering is excellent. I wish you great success with this program. I would suggest a 25 percent price increase. PTA is excellent and under priced.
Ok, so my comments are on an old video. I just hope you drive this program forward with vigour. I have the best scenery, the best weather, the best textures and finally, I have the perfect manipulation of that environment. You and your colleagues have hit on something here. You do so much for the industry with your videos, etc. No justifcation was necessary as those who knew you already trusted there was a good reason for you having to charge (but l did enjoy you putting the. 1% of knockers back in their place). I'm going to come out and say I downloaded PTA at first (illegally). BUT I bought it the same day because damn... It's just amazing.
It's not just tweaking random stuff, it actually enhances the whole sky "feel" (if that makes sense).
I'm using orbsx everything and active sky + asca for p3dv4 and everything looks soooooo good!

Don't bother with all the negative comments on avsim. It's always going to be complainers and people spreading negativity. Keep up the good job. Purchased PTA on the day it was released. Great video Matt, believe it or not I've never used PTA, I have purchased it for V4 but just haven't been able to make time to use it ... not to mention it's highly likely HDR will go away and be replaced by PBR at some point so all these PTA adjustments are likely to go away.

I have been using it for past several months and I must say to all those new to PTA, Get It Now... it's a must have add-on for P3Dv4+... changes in quality from default is mind blowing...Sometimes I don't even use the Rex 5 Sky Force 3D and it still makes PTA looks AMAZING...

I think its a new way of business for esp based stimulators. It is extremely difficult to believe that LM lacks skilled software developers who can optimize the sim on release. Probably the sims these days are intentionally made not to function at its best so that 3rd party developers come in correct what could have been fixed by the developers and LM gets a cut. I'm not sure if its happening but is certainly doable.
Hey Matt, great video and promotion for PTA. From whst I see I believe this will be a success.
I have been only a FSX simmer for many years. Purchased FSW, but won't be going down that road. So it will have to be either XP11 or P3D4 - not sure which as yet but leaning towards P3D4. If I do P3D4 then for sure my initial add-ons will have to be FSUIPC5, ChasePlane, AS and it now looks like PTA as well.

I've been trying this over the last few days and I can't see any difference at all. The only preset that does seem to change anything is the Thopat one but that one constantly goes from light to dark and back to light again. Also,, that screenshot comparison at the start is utterly useless because it isn't comparing the same thing.
Clearly I am, I just don't see what I'm doing wrong. I remember using reshade on FSX (and other games) and the improvements were huge but can't seem to get any improvements with PTA. The fact that P3D is installed on my D drive wouldn't make any difference would it? I'll a look on AVSIM and try some of those

I have Ultimate Realism Pack installed already and it looks great. Just purchased your PTA.. Looking forward to install tomorrow. Do they integrate together? Also what P3D Graphic settings do you recommend. I use Ultimates right now..

Matt, I know that there is a larger market in P3D, but for those who enjoy x-plane and such, have you considered porting PTA thus making it I guess something like XPTA :P to bring it to the x-plane market? That would be amazing if so, although I do know that you’ve already been working very hard on multiple things (PTA, Projectfly, a380 (kek)) So if you can’t its ok. lul

Hi Matt, just a quick question, I am going to get PTA it looks absolutely amazing. However, for my Cloud textures i plan to get Rex Sky force 3d, i already have Rex Texture Direct, so how i do inegrate both of these together? One provides cloud textures and the other provides grass, airport and other textures. Thank you :)

Hi Matt...I also have envidir and evenshade (I think that's it) and I was just wondering if your PTA setting conflict with these already installed? I like yours but I just want to make sure your PTA are what I am actually using and not necessarily the other shaders. Thanks!
