Underrated, under appreciated, and amazingly talented!! Wish more people would “get” Winger and realize how amazingly musical they are!!! Great interview!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽⚫️☀️🏜️🌵🎸🎤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤☠️⚓️🏴☠️
A lot of time for Kip. Great musician and interviews. Some of the early live winger stuff you can see Paul duelling with Reb. He can def play! Looking forward to the new album . Winger 4 is still so underrated though!
i saw kip in denver at mr.luckys way before all this he is my inspiration a brilliant man i feel immense pain from him and i know why thank God for his music....!
Kip Winger will never let you down. Everything he releases is magic. Love Winger and Kip's solo stuff and even got into Blackwood Creek with his bro. Iv is an incredible album and if Seven if half as good as that then I'll be happy.
I've been a huge Winger fan since I was a teenager. I have been blessed to see Winger probably 20x and in many different Venues acoustic sets clubs all I can say is Winger always sounds amazing. They never seem to age vocally or musically it's like perfection. Met Kip at least twice what a great down to earth guy just amazing to us fans! Can't wait for the new album!
I didn't know Kip had been with Alice Cooper!! I can appreciate he keeps his circle small and guarded. I love Winger!! I will be buying the album!! Greatly recommended by Chuck!!😊❤️❤️❤️. I want to see Kip, Corabi and Tom!! Great interview, Chuck!!!👍❤️❤️
Great interview as always. Was excited when this popped up on my feed. Winger is a great band have been listening to them lately. Really love his voice. Seventeen was a pretty risqué song back in the day lol
It's great to see Winger back and with such cool songs. A very underrated band that always puts out quality rock. Thanks, Chuck, for interviewing Kip!!
Glad to hear him mention Spell Im Under!!! One of my Favorite Winger tracks ever!! PULL was a Killer Album!!! Junkyard / Tears Falling on Stone is another Amazing track!!
Such a great band and have had many opportunities to see them! Great live and great albums or music whichever you want to call it… was a great surprise to see them jump in and take place for Tesla when they got Covid for Sturgis- Full Throttle show
Another fantastic interview, great job man. I really enjoy Kip's music whether he's solo or with Winger. He's off the charts talented and I think their albums are progressively getting better as they go on. A great group of exceptionally talented musicians.
Seriously, so talented. Very underrated. Glad they are still making new music and doing shows still. Kip said it might end soon so catch them while you can!
Great interview! Kip is such a multi-talented musician and to me and I know to many others, him and his band will always be considered underrated, even though they're probably the most talented band that come from that era. The amazing music they continue to put out shows that. Interesting He was talking about the song spell I'm under which can't be too easy for him considering it's about his late wife.
@@ChuckShute thanks for the reply Chuck. I appreciate it. Yeah he wrote the song while she was still alive.. Keep up the great work and looking forward to the next interview!
Great interview! He’s such an interesting guy and such a great musician. Really enjoyed the questions on the Pull album, as that’s my favorite as well. The new tracks are so damn good. Can’t wait to hear the whole album on May 5th.
I thought the interview with Kip went great. I had always wanted to know where Winger filmed the Down Incognito video. I went through message boards a long time ago, and I couldn't get an answer. They filmed the video at Mission San José de Tumacácori in Arizona. Thanks to this podcast, I was able to find out. It seems like it is a very intersting place to visit. I've visited quite a few missions in California. Chuck does a great job with his interviews. I would love to see Chuck interview guitarist Craig Chaquico.
Yes it’s a very cool filming location. I went to the restaurant with the cattle skull too. The mission was beautiful as well. Thank you for watching. I will try to get Craig on the show!
LOL I like it! I would call it more of a tease to get people excited, but if you want to go in 100% fresh, then yeah, it’s a spoiler! Good fan! And thanks for watching my show! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
So maybe I'm wrong but I definitely feel like I'm getting vibe from Kips tone and answers to some questions that he is just irritated with the interviewer...
It’s possible… but I’ve done over 400 of these and I didn’t get that vibe from him. Definitely others but not this one. If I remember correctly he started off a bit closed and then opened up quite a bit towards the end.
Haha I think there are different versions of shy… with crowds and parties some people thrive on that. He can in a concert or structured setting obviously
Metallica kinda screwed Winger's career, and they are way better musicians than Metallica although I loved Metallica in the 80s more than any other band, they were just doing something completely new and heavier and more aggressive than anything around at the time but I'll admit it Winger were better musicians, Cliff Burton was the only real musician in Metallica.
Kip.. such talent.
Yes! And a good guy too! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Winger Has and Will Always Rock! Album Seven is on point! Ty Kip and the boys for keeping the music coming! 🎸🤘🥰

Yeah, "Pull" is a great record! And the new records sounds promising as well.
@@sebastianelias2927 definitely! The new one is a cross between the first record and Pull according to Kip
