Good morning Rob! It took me a little longer to get through your video this morning because of the increased length, but it was still very enjoyable! You accomplish more in a week than I get done in a month or two, or three, or four 😅 I love all of your plans and look forward to them coming together. 💯👍
Yep, I knew it was gonna be an awesome video. I think when you have your open house many people are going to enjoy the hell out of it. Great job and planning!.
The caboose on the mine run house track can be held in pace by some well placed tall static grass between ties to hold the axles until ready for pickup.
To make the tunnel portal halves work, drill a hole in the top ends of the arch that meet, use a wood dowel and epoxy to bond the two halves. Shold work out nicely. putty and sand the seam.
Nice layout so far, that solo tower shown in the beginning is known as a "Crossing Tower" used by a signalman Not to switch tracks or signals but to help Road Traffic across tracks usually at a bottle neck of a yard either by having 2 different yards with a single roadway in the middle of them or a Roadway in the middle of a Big yard as the Signalman would watch train Traffic and Mainline coming through easier because of being higher up and being able to see over parked Railcars in the distance, when getting close to road traffic crossing the Signalman would step out of Tower either hand lower the gates or Flag the crossing so Automobile traffic would stop. Nice someone that actually checks those Trim-Tracks "counting cars" Is a real thing when working yards, No more than a Mile on the mainline, FRA rules say you have to continue on if passed, unsafe.
Get Naked…Get on the Scale…😂😂😂…you got a lot of work ahead of you to meet May 17-18…where do I find more info about that show? ….and would love to come down that weekend…thanks for putting a video together for me…
@@lottaaction8072 as I stated in the video, I used AnyRail to design my layout and lost everything when my laptop crashed. I only have one print out of the plan and it’s a Version 1.
The best thing to do is a tour and explain what you're doing as you go through the layout!
@@robertsiebenrock3997 I covered that in episode 1. 😂🤣

@@MosriteCharlie smart idea.
Try inserting and glueing tooth picks to hold the tunnel portals together. Keep up the good work!

Nice looking layout. Are the coal tipples from kits or scratch-built? I’m looking for tipples.
@@davidomatick7015 thank you, both tipples are Walthers kits that I bought already assembled.
