Walking away from a man through my acts of kindness is when I see red flags I'm aware that will not find resolution. Even though Ive expressed my feelings and truth, I've stood my ground. It's only worth to be with a man long term, when he's willing to meet your level, emotionally mature, being vunerable and able to want to be supportive. If it becomes a drain for me over a period and he's not open to change, then it's Time to move on. People need to be made accountable for their actions and not keep being the victim and licking their wounds. There's only so much of my time and compassion I'll express, then we need to seek councilling and not always depend on another...
1) He wants you to have the power to walk away. 2) He wants to experience your dark side. 3) He wants to be able to be weak in your presence sometimes. 4) He secretly wants to be taken off the pedestal you have him on. 5) He wants a woman that takes responsibility for her life. 6) He wants to be challenged respectfully. 7) He wants you to be emotionally expressive.
As a 50 year old man, I personally appreciate the fact that women experience very similar insecurities, anxieties and hopes and loves. Watching some of Clayton's videos has helped me from going into a place of cynicism and bitterness but rather into a place of solace, peace of mind and empathy and shared experiences. Thank you Clayton.
1. My ability to walk away. By this it shows my kindness to him is my choice. 2. He wants to experience my dark side. So that he feels in a relationship with all of me. 3. He wants to be able to be weak in my presence from time to time. 4. Be equal with him. King and Queen. No pedestral. 5. Take responsibility for my life. 6. Challenge him, but don't dismiss him. And challenge myself. 7. He wants me to be emotionally expressive. So he can experience emotions through me. Great stuff. Thanks.
Clayton your emotional intelligence and sensitivity put most men coaches in your field to shame. You are very gifted indeed, thank you for sharing your wisdom.
Too many catch phases and words that don’t ho together or work. Lots of psychobabble here. He’s off of topic and just saying anything without actual accounts for anything.
You really bring a deeper level of relationship management perspective that no one else does. You speak to the questions and confusion that even women cannot always come up with, let alone articulate.
You bring that energie and 'feel' of a healthy man figure. As someone who grew up missing that, this value that you bring is no less important than the content of the vids - which is golden 🙏✨
I've been w/ the best therapist for a year now. She uses the " I don't have all the answers. " "The answers are in you". I agree Clayton, & for everyone to find a great, productive therapist.

Thanks. We all have "weaknesses" as well as "strengths" and demonstrating weakness is strength turned inside out. I'm far from 20 and much closer to 100 but there are certain things my body has always told me...someone's tone,or body language or choice of words I can literally feel as a physical reaction...my stomach will tighten in a good or painful way... woman's intuition is something no one, man or woman should ever ignore ..at my age it's no longer subtle...it literally screams inside me...so, walking away or staying all depends on this guy of mine. I think all seven suggestions are valid...the one thing I could never ever put up with is deception..cheating in an agreed upon monogamous relationship. It just immediately turns off every single positive emotion...and I could walk away calmly. It happened twice in my life...but when they came back to apologize I forgave them but with a smile wouldn't accept them back into my life...their loss...I was a winner!

Loooove this video. I had to become more aware of my darkside and learn to be more emotionally expressive. I was raised in a home where that was ridiculed fast forward to now, i ended up pushing my masculine man away because i was being aloof, dismissive, and emotionally cold. Now i appreciate the experience because now i see that being emotional actually gives me leverage. When u are comfortable being vulnerable it will be respected and seen as *gentle* strength. Im not a kid anymore i am safe to express myself fully and gracefully.

Thank you for your honesty! It’s refreshing bc is women usually feel left out of their deep feelings! I’m speaking for the women of the 50/60’s. We were raised to be the subservient one in the relationship. I have a problem with that bc I need an equal partner bc I’m a leader and I also need a leader. I would never want to run a man. I want a man that can take me on equally in every area. I need someone to not compete but to do with me. Thank you for your real truth about men. So many men have been taught to not feel! I’m truly sorry for the way boys are raised. I raised my sons to feel and own their feelings. It’s not about macho it’s about humbling your ego to be one with the women if your dreams.
Yes. It's important to express all your emotions in a healthy way. It shows that you know who you are, what you will accept, it helps you form boundaries and you need to be true to yourself by showing these to your potential mate in an honest respectful manner so he can learn Who You Are and know your boundaries otherwise you're not giving him a chance to truly get to know you or understand you and more important chat for him to be honest and open to you about who he is if you can't be honest and open to him. To me that describes putting up walls. There is no place for walls in a healthy relationship.
Omggg.. these things are so true. I learned them the hard way but fortunatly early enough to turn my relationship around. 6 years later its at its very best..
I like those 7 points. Thanks for sharing. I experienced when I am open about my dark side and show emotions (and i am still of course trying to make him feel that's I'm coming from a position of love) he shuts down, makes his decision and tells me he lost confidence that he can make me happy. Since then I'm always smiling. :) ...
Thank You and Thank God! On the right track because what you describe is AUTHENTICITY - nothing else is attractive to me, so hallelujah that he wants that too.

Clayton Olson Coaching With regards to my marriage...I made this mistake as I felt bound by my commitment. Leaving was never the option...but in hindsight, I can see how the relationship lost its value.
I love your honesty; I’m a very goal oriented person and I identify with you . Thank you for this video. I would love to find a person with such maturity!!
Watched the first point: 100%. That's why I love the saying "don't take my kindness for weakness" And: check! Definitely some qualities regarding number 2 haha 😉 Can I refer my next guy to you regarding your opinion that showing my dark side is an honor to him? (no I'm not bad girl, but definitely go wild when you give me rubbish) And jokes apart, I so agree! If one doesn't show up for him/herself, that's poison for a relationship which you want to be truthful and strong/ connected. Apart from the boredom that comes along with scary "harmony always and at any price" Love nr. 3.
Wow! Masterful! And I could check off how each one is happening in a Key relationship even though it’s not a romantic one. Very pleased with myself ☺️ and how the relationship has grown deeper because all these points have been activated.
I wish I wouldve had this video a few years ago when I was in the throws of a very painful breakup. At the time, because of feeling so blindsided and unbearably heartbroken, I wasn't able to fully see how my own role, actions, and shortcomings also contributed to his decision to fully walk away. Our time together was a whirlwind romance and a crash and burn type end. Too much to fully express here. But I just wanted to say that your words really resonated and yours and Jack's videos always have me growing and learning how to better myself, my thinking and my approach to men. And hopefully one day I'll have another opportunity to be that wonderful partner to someone who's also a wonderful partner to me as well...Thanks Clayton..your work and your words are valuable to so many:)
Thank you so much for this superb video. What a relief to hear this. Women are so much more than make up, high heels, having to look sexy. We want men with brains, intelligence. That is what I am hoping / looking for ... even though I feel dating sites even a decent paid one, can be challenging to find an interesting man who is grown up. Watched the first point: 100%. That's why I love the saying "don't take my kindness for weakness"
And: check! Definitely some qualities regarding number 2 haha 😉 Can I refer my next guy to you regarding your opinion that showing my dark side is an honor to him?
(no I'm not bad girl, but definitely go wild when you give me rubbish)
And jokes apart, I so agree! If one doesn't show up for him/herself, that's poison for a relationship which you want to be truthful and strong/ connected. Apart from the boredom that comes along with scary "harmony always and at any price"
Love nr. 3.
Thanks for sharing, Diana! Some good insight here
Brilliant video. Thank you!
You're welcome!
Wow! Masterful! And I could check off how each one is happening in a Key relationship even though it’s not a romantic one. Very pleased with myself ☺️ and how the relationship has grown deeper because all these points have been activated.
I’m so glad it landed. I hope you’ve been following my recent content and getting value out of it

Another great interesting video...many thanks
You're welcome!
Thank you!

Clayton, you are awesome! I love # 2 , to be able to show my darker side to my partner is very important. Thank you for sharing your insights!
Good. I hope you have been able to continue to integrate all of it.
Not a big child who is looking for a barbie. Big hug from Belgium 🙏
Well said and that's exactly my intent with this video. Is to open up to more the less obvious side of things.
Thanks for this amazing video Master!!
