- First night in the Alu Cab roof top tent, absolutely great night! Hopefully van life is on its way... I wish it was my NEW purchase haha - only dreaming 🤞
In this video, I run through the interior conversion and the landrover setup which my parents have done to their rig for overlanding and going away on road trips - its a great setup and super inspiring! As well, I run through some kit including the Jackery Explorer 500 power station and the solar saga 100 solar panel. Thank you so much for watching xo @Bushwacker Man @Bushwacker Overland

You may notice that SIMON BLOKE IN THE WOODS is a skillful mechanic as well as being a carpenter. He keeps a set of tools in his LandRover and knows how to use them. I would have a camper conversion built around a Ford Transport utility truck. I like the headroom and the mechanical reliability. Probably you have seen Simon's LandRover conversion. He has many good ideas wrapped up in that package.
One Life, Live It on the side of the Land Rover. Words to live by! Glad you’re following your own path!
I think Becky put words on for Her Father, God Blessings from Iowa, USA
Congratulations Becky , i'm happy for you , you deserve it , keep exploring the wonders of nature .
It was nice of your dad letting you camp in the roof top tent. Doing something a bit different but yet somewhat the same is good. Future van traveling sounds like you would really enjoy. Start looking for a good reliable van. See your dad was wearing his new hat. What happened to yours? Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day/evening.
That cold weather keeps hanging on in the UK. Lovely video again my dear. My wife and I loved it as usual. ❤️🙏
although not right now though eh !!
Overnighter in the coolest vehicle possible
Or 101
Hey Beck's, Searcher here, I wish I had one of those, never lose that accent, that beautiful smile, and your long hair, You are a real babe, and never lose that lust for life and the outdoors that you have, life goes by too fast, enjoy it, I enjoy your videos, keep them coming.
Be careful Becky because overlanding with an RTT can be habit forming! I have had mine now for the last 18 months and love it! Your parents have a very nice set-up and thank you for making this video.
Cheers from The Lauder Clan!! Peace on this fine Earth!!
excited for your future, Becky! and your Dad is a cool guy.
WOW what an opening few mins. The scenery, music, landy, editing.. all superb. Proper set the mood for the vid incredible. Jeez your parents have a seriously good vehicle bloody love it!!
Thanks so much!!
I am sooooo jealous. Very cool. Tell dad he can park it in my driveway if he needs to. Neat change of pace young lady. Always fun. Thanks.
Bush Wacker ur dad great man enjoy the nature
If you are serious about van life, Becky, you'd better go with a Landy rather than a van, so you can really go off road & escape the fuzz patrols. New CAMpRA & wild camping laws are in the offing which will seriously restrict where & when camper vans can stop, park &/or stay. The police will also have the pôwers to confiscate your vehicle should they deem you are breaking the law. Liberty is a thing of the past.
Hi Becky I had four camper vans over around twenty year, we started with a second hand VW with we kept for around two year until my then wife fell pregnant so we needed a bigger van we also had a dog, we bought a four berth 1970 Auto Sleeper Commer Camper with a lift up roof with was ideal with so much more room compared to the VW Camper van, we kept it for around four year went all over the UK in it, then we decided we would buy a large large tent that was great but such a faff to put up and take down especially in the wet weather we used that for around three years, but camper vanning kept pulling we sold the tent an bought a second hand Austin Sherpa Camper, which I completely refitted out we kept that for around six years, i aways wanted to convert a panel van out to a camper motor home, we bought second hand Fiat Ducato long wheel base high roof panel van similar size to a Mercedes Sprinter, which we both fitted out fully insulated as a two berth with all the things we needed, 3 way fridge full cooker with oven toilet wardrobe and plenty of storage that was in 1993, we kept that four around three years until we divorced, we had some great time camping an Camper vanning and saw some beautiful places, best of luck with year driving test and hope you get you first van soon byeee.😃
Beautiful vehicle your dad has. I think you will be happy with a van which will give you more room. I see where you get your independence from. Stay well and enjoy life.
Welcome to Sweden! Here is a lot of wilderness and hiking trails. Here you can wild camp almost everywhere. We have same rules as Scotland.
greetings from Sarawak...Malaysian state on Borneo Island...East Malaysia.awesome landy there with camper..adventurest lady.following your travel..ok bye ..safe adventure.🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾..yes one life live it.
If possible find out if a vehicle you are considering was owned by a smoker. If it was, pass it by. Tobacco smoke residue has a negative effect on wiring and electronics.
Thank you for all the videos
Aw thanks so much!
Brilliant video Becky your dad has made a fantastic job in converting the 110 beautiful vehicle they are bullit proof machines a work on the railway and the company converted on so it can travel on the tracks is awesome to drive, stay safe take care waiting on the next video 👍👍
Van life is cool if you set it up right from the start. I did it in my college days and loved it. Building another van now, a monster Dodge Ram Van 3500. You'll probably love it too. I look forward to the vids. Thanks for this one Miss Becky. Well done as always.
Rooftop tent! You're moving up in the world!😉
Very nice i love land rover.
Another great video,Becky. Thoroughly enjoyed it, as always. I hope your future plans come to fruition. Once again your long hair looks great.
Well done, good luck with it all - both of you.
“One life live it” is good but “one wife livid” is better..nice wheels..Happy Camping peeps..✌🏻
What an awesome piece of kit your Dad has. I subbed to him too.
Such a great young lady and seeing dad is great, living life well done.
Your parents are very strong hearted people loving people I wish you the best with that landlover.
Try this for a fried rice - 1) eggs 2) rice (Basmati) 3) peas 4) Small dice potatoes (fried) 5) Corned Beef 6) Soya source- fry all the mixed - ready to eat
In this Defender and this equipment, Landrover it's perfect , sheer from Sydney.
Will be hard to go back into your bushcraft shelter now after all this luxury !! Looks so cosy !
I've recently got myself a Defender. Wanted one since I was a child, finally got myself one. Mine's white, but in similar excellent condition. That gun metal grey though.... lovely. Probably the perfect Defender colour I reckon.
As for me my first van was a 1965 Ford F-150 it was used and I got it from the phone company they used it as a supervisors work van with very low mileage I put paneling on the inside it had a stove in it and lots of storages for my bed I had a very big bean bag ( if you don't know what this is just ask your mom and dad ). Had it for 5 years and went all over the U.S. in it. If you ever come to the this side of the pond I can show you pictures of it. In Joy... I'm glad to see your Dad making fun of you by saying it's WOMAN'S work and not saying it's a GIRLS work glad to see he's see you as a young woman and not a little girl
Oh nooo, you gone and done it now… I started with a tent and now have a full Toyota Prado touring set up for Australia. Still using a swag as I don’t really need to add the RTT and the extra weight. You just made the step to “Glamping”.. Enjoy..👍🇦🇺
It’s been a while since I’ve watched one of your vids, sorry for not being a loyal fan, I’d be really interested in seeing a van life type series 😎👍🇮🇲 keep up the fantastic work
Thank you Neil :) take care
I started with a Disco 3, added a roof top tent, and then a slide out kitchen in the back. Great set up! But, not for some one who loves the woods. In New Hampshire, USA, you can't camp at the trail heads. The RTT makes you VERY obvious. The other problem with the RTT was packing it up every morning to go to the trail heads, and then setting it up again every night after a long day on the trail. I'm your Dad's age. We are too old for that stuff. My other problem was finding camping spots with enough light to charge the solar generator that powers my fridge. Even adding a second battery system on the Rover, didn't provide enough power. A really good cooler was a much cheaper and more effective alternative. After too many years of compromise, I'm in the process of building an off road trailer. The other thing that I have learned is building your own solar system is far more cost effective. You can tailor wattage VS amp hours to best meet your needs... unless you factor sponsorships into the cost! Bring your family to the states, and we can all go find Bigfoot!
Wow that is a nice setup. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing 👍👍
Nice video will have to subscribe to the new channel, always been a Landrover person from Series 2 which I rebuilt and then Series 3, not a keen rooftop camper having forgot I was on the roof many years ago the first step was a beauty. Thanks for sharing stay safe cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Cool truck. I have one basically the same but in green, minus the camping kit of course. I'm considering a roof tent for the future.
Go for it and go big 🤘 I love watching your videos!
Congratulations, I'm happy for your new Land Rover.
🤣🤣 i bet he was watching like a hawk in the background worried about his precious baby 😀 i hope he lets you take it for a spin once you past your test. Yes its a shame about travel at the moment but hopefully it gets better sometime this year but i think its looking more like next. At least you have your basecamp setup 🙂
Thats great girl. My daughter is 19 now and she keeps asking me to go fishing. Great times. God bless, stay safe and have fun 👍
As usual another wonderful video can't wait until you get in a van and start vlogging
... Bushwacker's Land Rover overlander looks to be a very nice rig .. great for a solo traveler ,, maybe a bit small if you plan on having others along ... I know nothing about the vehicles over there but I imagine there are many options... If you think you will be in backcounry areas ,you will want to have 4-wheel drive for traction and ground clearance,, over here in the U .S. ,, there are some vans equipped with 4x4 as well ..
...Do some outings and trips in areas you know first ,, just to see if it's set up to satisfaction ... Would be extra cool to see yourself and Louise take some adventures together... you both are a joy to watch ... Will just have to see what you come up with ...
... I agree with your desire to explore while you are young and strong ,, pursue interests and dreams before building a foundation for a long term future ... Just stay aware of the world events and proper space needed for a solo female .... safety always comes first ...Until next video ..
..... Stay Safe and God Bless .....
Good vid Becky .. Awesome landis .. cheers Chris & Sam
wow! my parents should have had such a landie... we only got a Series II A, plus tent, but that was long ago, then we changed to a VW bus, and then to a Jeep wrangler... every car had its pros and cons, but I think I would love to have the Land Rover you`re using. you lucky camper! (by NO means I would want the new "Pretender")
Looks ace! You’ve such a calm and positive nature, it makes watching your vids very relaxing! Nice job :)
Thank you! 😊
Girl Outdoors
Hi. I was thinking that too. Are you always calm or do you have moments of flurry or madness too ?
My plan for next year 2022 is to buy a Fiat Doblo and converted and travelling around Uk for hiking.
Love your videos... well done Becky 👏🏾 your Dad is cool 🤙🏾
That's an interesting vlog. No too much bla bla. Becky your innocent approach gives soul to your video. Wish you continue to stay same. Land Rover look great . Speaks a lot about your Dad.
Thank you very much :)
Wow that’s your folks,I’m subscribed to them too, that’s 1 cool family you guys have 👍
Happy travel 🏴
A very nice video, special with your dreams and hopes for the future, it is always nice to have something to think about when sitting inside in the rain. And who knows if your dreams will not come true one day, we cross our fingers for you. 🤞
I was amazed at Wildsoul Vee and her van conversion she had done. Amazing what can be done if you can find a good reliable vehicle and the right company to help you plan and kit it out. Your dad has got it sussed out with that Landie. Awesome video
Hi at last your dad got the bushwhack stickers where can i get one from for my Landrover thanks dave chubb
just the perfect ride for a camping trip in Maasai mara. Consider this and I'll be glad to make it happen
Becky The Defender looks like it would be a good addition to you kit
Love that I'm a motor mechanic, got a suzuki jeep, stay lucky
Just curious but when you camp solo, alone, and night falls with that fire light glowing shadows into the forest, does your mind play tricks, sounds become amplified, cracking branches become other-worldly. Only a thin tent wall between you and the environment, the forest is alive all night, and peaceful sleep requires a shift in perspective. After all outdoor adventures without a tribe of peoples can be rather isolating and creates a sense of vulnerability. You seem calm, cool and collected, not even a flashlight and a knife, or batton by your side. Woodlands are beautiful during the day, but the darkness of night can seem eternal. Cheers ! You demonstrate a tremendous courage. Will be watching.
Hey thats a Nice truck good luck for you i have a humvee greetings from New york

I love how careful you are when opening boxes and setting up etc. Soooo nice to see someone not slamming things open and shut.
Your dad can be well chuffed with a daughter like you. All the best to you all.
Aw thank you so much !
I think you would enjoy central Texas but it may be to hot for you in the summer time here
I wish you all the luck with your van life journey. I look forward to your new videos no matter what, van or bush craft camping. Would you ever try an adventure to Canada in the future? There are a lot of great you tubers in Canada and a lot of beautiful places to explore.

I will really enjoy your van-life videos once you get around to it, Miss Becky! Come to the USA if you can! Y'all keep 'em straight over there!
aw thanks so much Scott, all the best :)
Nice land rover , looks really good . Not sure about the sleeping up and above . Maybe I think a converted van or camper van would be ideal for your future ventures . Looking forward to your future ventures ❤️
Very much enjoyed watching that would be a dream just to live on the road very nice Land rover
Looking forward to your camper van Becky 👍🇵🇭
I had a black 110 XS before I was paralysed, but had to trade it for an automatic Discovery. Just not the same! Now I have CI Cipro motorhome. Again automatic, but also has a garage for a wheelchair or my off-road scooter.
Enjoy, enjoy, lol. Hope you have binoculars to check out the wild life and stars.
Awesome Job Becky. Great content
3 words come to mind RICH SPOILT BRAT
Jealously is an ugly emotion I'm wealthy own my own Garage and I'm a 4th Dan Black belt comes in handy when some idiot mocks my accent
A roof top tent system isn't very good logistically if you are staying at the same place, as you have to put the roof tent down every time you want to go any where in the vehicle and also the tent and frame is very expensive compared to a regular tent, which you can buy for a fraction of the price. A campervan is a much better option in my opinion.
greetings from germany to everyone
please make a meetup with Cam Cole and his Van and enjoy sounds from the Van :)
Thank you
Your dad Rangerover is a keeper, I reckon. ❤️
Eggs first 😄
