Love the less is more video style format here. A question. On the first off road shots going up grassy hill track, why do the brake lights come on and off several times please?
Thanks for your kind words! Regarding that video clip, the brake lights were illuminating automatically, presumably as a result of the traction control ("terrain response" is the technical term, I guess!) making inputs and applying the brakes to particular wheels. I certainly wasn't touching the brake pedal at any point!
Hi, thanks for the video! I ready on internet that the noise of original LR rack is less than a front runner roof rack. I understand you can't compare, but can you tell something about the noise when driving (on a high way). Thanks!
It's quite hard to say because the sound deadening/insulation in the Defender is very good, but I didn't find the Front Runner Roof Rack particularly noisy without the Roof Top Tent installed. I can't comment on the OEM Roof Rack, but I have read some reports that it's quite noisy at high speed.
It has a lot more storage space by way of having additional slats (11 mounting channels as opposed to the OEM rack's 8) and also the ability to fit additional accessories in the side channels (for example, the LED Light Bar and Quick Release Awning Mounts on our car) that don't take up any space on the rack itself. You can then also use the full Front Runner range of products on the rack, whereas the OEM rack does not have much support for accessories (you can't even use the Land Rover Bike Carrier with the Land Rover rack, for example). I hope that helps!
Got my 110 on Saturday. Love the wheels and rack. Let the modding begin 😁👍
Fantastic, glad to hear that more and more people are having their Defender's delivered after plenty of waiting!
Beautiful build...those rims are gorgeous
What a vibe those camping shots are 🤩 awesome rig you built!
Thank you!
I love that build!
Do you have a wrap on the car? The colour looks quite matte in some shots.

what playlist is that?
Does the Front Runner rack interfere with the diversity antenna reception?
We didn't experience any issues with radio reception while it was installed but, to be honest, we mostly relied on Spotify/CarPlay etc
Where abouts is the camp site that you stayed at please? :)
It's called Aberafon!
Do you find the FrontRunner roof rack better than the OEM Defender roof rack and why?
