Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I'm sorry about being absent these past couple weeks. I've been busy and working on this as well as a normal video. This was giving me quite a few issues, and so I had to put the other one off until I got this one done so it'd be out on time. I hope you all like it! Your shipping videos are always 100% on point. It's impressive how you managed to get every single ship perfectly in character.
I've seen the joke at 1:10 used for Sholmes/anybody before. Never seen it used for Kazuma tho. Maybe cuz Sholmes just feels like that type of jealous and possessive lol but I suppose that Kazuma could be that type as well.
The Sholmes/van Zieks love letter joke was very appropriate xD it's exactly the type of "letter" that Barok would send.
I laughed at loud at the "good luck trying to return me without a receipt!" joke. That fits for Sholmes perfectly!
Also laughed at the "have a nice day!" "I won't." Barok would absolutely say that to Ryunosuke during Adventures xD
Kazuma/van Zieks remains the most in character, hilarious ship in your videos.

Yeah I've seen it with Sholmes a lot too, but I've seen it for Asoryuu specifically a decent amount as well. It's a good joke and it's great that it can be used for multiple ships!
I was going through quotes from a different ship I like that have a similar dynamic and remembered that one. I just had to do it. It was perfect.
I don't think he even has to be drunk to do that. That feels like something normal Sholmes would do.
It really is so in character on van Zieks's end. I couldn't not.
Their dynamic is so fun to toy with. It's part of why you've seen them interacting more in the normal vids as well. They will continue to bicker in a I hate you (but not really) way until I completely run out of ideas for it.

I feel like one doesn't even need to ship the ships to understand the dynamic of said ships. You simply need to understand the characters involved. And you clearly know your characters well in the Great Ace Attorney, because they all come out perfectly in character here.
And as a side note, it's a very easy game to multi ship, which is also probably why it feels so natural. A lot of the characters have great dynamics with multiple characters, so these feel more natural to multi ship rather than forced.

Something that always does make me laugh is a common thing in fandom where they, to quote TV tropes, "pair the spares," so to speak. Basically, if every other character is paired off, then you pair up the remaining characters so that nobody is left alone.
In the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, that's probably where ships like Gina Lestrade/Maria Gorey come from: 2 characters who never actually spoke together on screen but are popular enough that people paired them up together, so that they wouldn't be alone when everyone else has their own ship.

I don't care about ship and do think they all are far stretched, but it's probably one of the funniest ace attorney related video i've seen in ages, z really fresh spin on what is usually a war on what ship is the best or whatever, and obvioudly, new Great Ace Attorney content will always warm my heart

this is probably a long shot but I was wondering if you got your backgrounds from somewhere and if you could direct me to the same place ;w; I found a bunch of codes for different ace attorney characters for objection.lol, but I can't seem to change their background or anything, like Kazuma being in front of Ryunosuke's office for example.
I don't have the backgrounds themselves really. I had the same problem as you at first, but then I realized I could just fade the characters out and screenshot the backgrounds for myself. Some of the backgrounds are dynamic, so that is lost, but I do have the static background works fine for my purposes. I have the screenshots for some locations saved if you want them. What do you need?

Full disclosure, in the time since I asked I got desperate and got into the Objection.lol discord and I found a good handful of backgrounds there!
I still don't have the Fresno Street house, the demonstration stage for Harebrayne's experiment, or Naruhodo's office at night, all of which I had specific plans for ;w; if you have those and feel like sharing, I'd be very grateful! If not, I'll try doing what you suggested!
(I was also wanting to get the prison background, but I don't have a lot of hope anyone's done it since you'd have to make a separate image of the bars to put a character in jail dfkgkdsfg)
