Naruhodou, Yuujin and Susato are the characters he refers with the most respect towards, but with Naruhodou it differs in that he also super soft with him??? He's the only character Asougi addresses with "kisama", but the kisama he uses isn't the despective/rude one using to degrade others or to speal casually with (usually male) peers, but the older, samurai version that means "I hold you, the person I'm addressing, in higher esteem than me/I hold you up on a pedestal". This "kisama" is not to be confused with other forms of respect, this one isn't to refer to someone who's your superior, someone you solely respect and/or admire, it's for someone you respect and/or admire AND that you also cherish emotionally but you also think they're above you/are too good to be interacting with you. Kinda like a kpop fangirl to her bias???? Its a very specific thing like with osananajimi where what it means had a context that gives nuance to the meaning that, if translated directly, get lost beyond the literal base meaning????? And like, to preserve the "wow, they're really that gay this soon and we're just barely starting the game" reaction of players they placed more innuendos condensed in 1-1 than the entirety of the rest of the AA franchise combined. Now that I've cleared up how when this man speaks to Naruhodou he's also basically screaming "I LOVE YOU SO MUCH" at any given moment, to the translation proper. When he asks while using his full name, you changing it to "from my heart" is an excellent choice bc that's what Asougi was trying to convey in his request: he's not just asking, he's begging in a very humble manner, a way less fluid, but more accurate way to translate the meaning and what's beung conveyed to the fullest would be "I sincerely ask if you would gift me, Asougi Kazuma, with the honor [of your company/presence]?". Again, remember the dialect he already usually regards Naruhodou with is very respectful and idolizing, a lot like a samurai talking to his lord but more affectionate. The {貴様こそが弁護士になるべき男ではないのか 貴様こそが地方を変える男だと!} part, a more accurate translation yet again not fluent translation at all (i'm also taking into account the kisama here btw so keeping the nuances/feelings conveyed makes it even clunkier, my apologies) would be: "You [whom i hold in high regard and esteem] are the man who should become a lawyer, isn't that right? [I know/I'm sure] You [whom i hold in high esteem] are the man who will change this land/country!" . The gayest part, which is the chorus, dw, again, you didn't make it gay bc it's even gayer in jp {おまえとまわるんだしほうの道 お前 と 過ごし だガチ 左飛の} more accurate would be something like "I will [voluntarily] be by your side through the path of many turns [that is life], I truly, really [as in very much; a whole lot] want to be right beside you/want to be together by your side".
