I can not believe that there are people who do not like this video....crazy. As an adoptee I would like to thank Cowichan Bay for giving me a beautiful and awesome home the last 4.5 years. My daughter even has her first job in The Bay....really has been a glorious adventure...thank you x
I have viewed this three times all ready since I received it this morning, my Grand daughter just said thats awesome, what an incredible island we live on. Thank you God
Absolutely fabulous!! Nick and Eric, you have done a truly remarkable job to showcase this little slice of paradise called the Cowichan Valley. The end result truly exceeded my expectations. I am proud and honored to have been part of this production!
What a wonderful portrayal of Cowichan! Beautifully done, thank you.
After moving from the mainland to the Cowichan Valley, we haven't looked back. Not a day goes by that we don't get to experience something new to see or experience. Kudos to the Nick and Eric for their incredible work. I've been sending this 5 minute clip to all my friends around the globe encouraging them to take a peak and then come and see this place and experience what we have to offer. I encourage all Cow Valley folk to do the same.
do you still enjoy it?
Cowichan is the region stretching from just north of Victoria, (about 30 minutes) almost to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island BC. It also stretches from east to west coast of the Island. The main and largest town is Duncan, and there are several villages and hamlets..... and lots of gorgeous rural countryside.
This is a spectacular glimpse of our little piece of the earth and I couldn't be more proud to call this place home
Absolutely fabulous now lets do the rest of the island what a wonderful world we live in.

This has to be one of the best promotional videos I have seen in a long time! We are planning to move to Duncan BC this year and I have been researching madly to find information on the area and the schools and this video has been a real treat. I can't wait for the kids to come home so I can show them this. Thank you for posting this.
Damn it Nick - I cry every time I watch this because it makes me so proud of our lovely Valley ! Thanks so much for capturing the magic that is Cowichan !!
This place is gorgeous, rain or shine
Awesome ! good job showing people how great Cowichan the Warmland is.
Absolutely Magnificent! Only one aspect missing - all the phenomenal mushrooms available free for the picking throughout the Cowichan.
Now that is quality and what a life style we have here on Vancouver Island
It was...... and we won Best Marketing Award for communities up to 20,000. And now nominated in the Tourism Vancouver Island industry awards - wish us luck!
I just stumbled across this video in search of something else - this is an incredibly well done piece of art! Beautiful through and through! A pleasure to watch!

Fabulous- Saw the whole vidio last night and made me so proud to live in the valley by the sea
Yes, lots of good spots to see on Vancouver Island - as a certain newscaster from CTV would say, "I love this island" :)
Wow, absolutely fabulous, I am blown away! This actually made me get a lump in my throat. You are one creative and talented guy Nick, and Eric! And showing how much talent we have in our little jewel of a valley. Where can I get my own copy?
Ab-SOUL-utely Superb!!.....the ultimate travel promo - So happy to be going there next month!!
If I didn't already live on Vancouver Island, this would definitely sway me! Great video :)
Waouuuu...alors là...chapeau ! Super vidéo de pub pour une région du monde qui a l'air d'être très sympa !!!
I love this video...I love my home.
Great video! Coming for the first time for my Christmas & New Years to stay at a cabin. Can't wait to see and experience the area.
The lovely Cowichan Valley is a scenic 30 minute drive from Victoria and it's one of the many beautiful places that surround our city. This video shows you why we all love to live in this part of the world, and why you should pay us a visit.....soon.
I simply love Cowichan Valley!
I am sorry that you have missed these important credits. Everyone, including the musicians, have received lots of credit everywhere and many times when and where the video is shown. Most of it is usually verbally in any presentation and there is a list of the musicians at the end of the longer version of the video which is available at the Chamber of Commerce in Duncan and will soon be on the DVCuisine website
Looks great - can't wait to see for myself!
Simply beautiful!
Very cool, especially since we have seen so many of the places!
It is so beautiful, authentic, and emotional. It brings the tears to my eyes. Well done
Just loved it. Really well done
It is like a paradise. i like the place.
Makes me want to go back to BC to live let alone visit!
Thank you, folks.......YOU NAILED IT!!!
Thanks for your reply Elly! Glad to hear recognition was given! As an actor/director/producer I'm always conscious of giving credit where credit is due!

This video captures the beauty of our lifestyle:)
Beautiful! Clever! I love it!
Very nicely done!
This video should be kept secret! We already have too many people invading this wonderful space. This will just bring more.😄
Gracious and well deserved!
Excellent video... when you make an update of this video, try to include shots of Individual and Team Youth Sports even skateboarding, yoga, etc.
Very well done!!!
Awesome video!!
What a great video! I just wish credit would have been given to the musicians and others on the creative team!
Wonderful!!
Wow, I grew up in the Cowichan Valley and loved it. But then it was a blue collar area. Nothing high fallutin about us.
Well done guys!
who are the musicians and choir? The whole piece is superb! Thank you.
Pm Gish The choir is Cowichan Consort Choir directed by Robert Mari. All other musicians are local residents except for the string quartet who are from Victoria. The local Cowichan string quartet were, unfortunately, not available at the time of filming. A complete list of all those who took part can be found on the DVD cover and also, I believe, on DV Cuisines' (the film production company) website.
Beautiful
Brilliant !!!

I grew up in the valley and miss it terribly , the NDP government drove me away in the 90's . I'll be back when I retire , see yah in 20 years .
Born and Raised here and about to graduate from Cow High.
It is a five star.

Is this where musicians go to retire?
Annnnnnd, this all happened in one day?
Gorgeous but not realistic. Where is the rain? And the endless grey days?
Beautiful !!!
