Yea! The Kevlar bead does cause a little of a better bond when they’re new. Couple of tricks would be to use a tiny bit of water with detergent, you apply it where the bead and the rim touch and it helps slip them off. Also, leaving them in the sun for a bit before you try to remove them helps a bit. Let me know if you give those a try and if they help :)

Bmx on mtb trails is definatel amazing fun. I did switch out 2.4 smootie tires for 2.1 gt heritage and bike is so much faster, smoothies roll forever but take a bit of energy to get rolling. What is the orange stuff on the jumps?

I agree! I’ve been having a blast riding my MTB on some BMX trails.
I believe the orange stuff is clay that hardens the jumps so they hold together, longer
Is the 20x2.125 wide tire fine for the bmx?
Yea it works, but by today's standards that size is usually reserved for the rear and a 2.25-2.40" is what's used in the front.
