Love the videos guys, it brought me into the shop. Had the best experience, bought parts and installed for my daughters cult. Past at least 20 shops on the way,See you next time✌🏽
More builds like this! Or just any bike builds. Keep it up, learned a lot from you. I haven't worked on a bike in 20 years. This is a great refresher. Currently rebuilding my 91 dyno detour. :)
Wow THAT is a real handlebar! 😳 Your cable work is almost like ASMR for me! But I hate doing cable work myself but I think it's because of my crappy cutters. I must get a real pair of cutters one day! Thanks for a great video!
Awesome to watch you all save some great old retro rides and have so much fun doing it. Sure brings back some memories of working on bikes back in the day! Love the content Been going through some older vlogs. Might actually get the balls to try to work and upgrade my MirraCo BMX! Please keep the video vlogs comin'!👍
I like original setup for the rear brakes better personally. But you do have a point about that splitter rubbing the down tube. I had an 87 Decade with a Spin Tech and that splitter did rub the down tube a bit. It’s getting tough to find parts for these setups. Great video as always, I look forward to seeing the next one.
I Remember The Primo Pervert was used to cut the play of about 1/8 of an inch that is found on the upper Gyro Cable in all different named brands exept for The Fishbone gyro which the splitter is similar to Primo Pervert but if you buy Re-Pop`s of The Fishbone gyro they now use standard gyro cables.
Generally, the bike looks sweet. That 'spintech' thing reminds me of the old ACS Pro Rotor from '86. I would ALWAYS go with the Odyssey Gyro rather than that thing. Your cables are too long up top. And puting a nylon cable tie around an outer brake cable is a definite no-no. If you really must hold it in place, use a velcro strap instead. Still though, she looks pretty hot for a middle aged chick. Er, I mean bike ha, ha, ha. Peace ✌
Iv got a few spintechs and can hook them up easily unlike my first time.. dont let it intimidate you.. wish this video was around when I started w them. Ps hate that og 3 way clamp I use the one sold on Porkchop for the pervert so much easier on decades
Any opinions on powder coating rims like on this Dyno? It looks sweet but Ive never powdered sides of rims because I was afraid it would gum up or melt. I ride my bikes rather than just display only. I searched around for opinions online but the forums are mostly knowitalls insulting each other..😮 Let me know if anyone has experience or opinions. Thanks
Philippians 2:10-11 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Love that you guys keep these bikes alive and share them with those of us who dream of living those days again
The 80’s were the best times to ride BMX and this DYNO is witness to that.
bmx forever , the passion of these guys is contagious and inspiring , keeping the bmx alive ❤ all your crew and alf
Goals is to purchase an 88 bike. Year I was born! Thanks for the video

I watch all the old videos so much good knowledge. Phu master knows. Wish I had a cool bike shop like yours in my area Chicago ridge , Illinois.

A true master craftsman at work boys and girls.

Great video. I learn so much from watching you work on old bikes.
Love the videos keep em coming.
sweet! much love from S. Texas thanks Phu and the Crew
14:19 reminds me of the primo pervert from back in the day 👍🚲💨

My question is are you ready for that beer or what?
Not Bad 😊... Good modern twist.
Please more extreme close ups to illustrate detail! Love the channel
Yeah that bike is BAD ASS.
Great Job! Great video. 👍 Greetings from Oceanside California 🤙
1st baby!!! King of the BMX!!!
Make a ball of JB weld the same size as the one cut off and stick it back on the cable.
This video was needed thank you
knarps ftw
you should do a shop tour video.
or a dream build!
You should put the original down cables. The SpinTech is very rare for the adaptation, that I agree is better for performance.
Phu, bro…
Save a little Steeze for the rest of us!!
I never use triflo on my break cables , I use grease , Phil wood grease , way smoother & gets into all that wire .
We use to use wire coat hanger to fish cables thru forks and frames
Dom't they make round ball narps? So it would look more original or, hmm would solder hold?
This was all the rage in 88 was expensive for the time I have I spin teck detagulue on a mongoose 14 in scoter is overall complex 😮
That's a beautiful bike
Not a channel lock, I do like the knarps for sure tho!
I just got an interceptor I’d love to restore
I'd rather use the Rotor

Epic Bmx Westminster, CA
**shakes head** 😦
New to the channel how I know the year of my bike own gt dyno blaze

I stopped watching bc word was u left SoCal, and then I see this
U back?
Not true
Too complicated
I don’t know for how long you’ve been doing old-school bikes, but to do that spin tech not supposed to do that you’re doing wrong
Philippians 2:10-11
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Kids can’t have ideas
what even are these videos
That’s dope!
Use proper words not ghetto slang
What I don’t like about this shop owners videos is he click baits his viewers for views and likes
