Jokers the only one that stays in the game just to fuck with Batman. The dude damn near goes full comatose when Batman is either dead or retired
Because a lot of Batman’s rogues gallery are well written, especially in these games. They’re not just boring “i will do whatever crazy villainous shit i can think of and mess with anyone who tries to stop me” (this is why i don’t really like the joker as a villain), they have a history and reasoning to be the way they are. They have goals and ambitions, and Batman is stopping them from meeting their goals. That’s why they need to defeat him.
What most don't get is in reality two faces moralitys are mostly grey it's why the coin was a thing he used alot because in reality with what had happened and what he had seen he took more comfort in commiting his actions based on the will of luck and fate then his own thoughts since in some continuities he would do villainous actions but then turn around and do something heroic or good all depending on the flip of a coin he had his good and his bad but also in the batman animated he had a personality in his head that judged him harshly for his actions and inactions can't remember if it was a part of his psyche blaming him for all the things I've gone wrong of because of his reliance in the coin flip or if it's just that it had a sort overly zealous vigilante complex like a few of bats anti heroes he created or was the cause of
Then again, I don’t know. For me personally, it kind of hit something deep because it genuinely seemed as if he took “life” in a way, as a simple joke. The phrase “country club in the sky”-as if it’s just a joyous moment-didn’t sit right with me at all. Then again, use it as motivation or fuel. Spend more time with your loved ones. Make a change in your life, if this is a wake-up call.
I think you're misinterpreting it. Batman does have a lot of fears that's why he keeps his family at a distance. That's why he has so many contingency plans. He's afraid of anything going wrong and getting out of his control
That’s kinda cool but it doesn’t really make sense. Don’t you only get a death screen from a villain if that villain actually kills you? Been a while since I last played an Arkham game so I could be wrong.
First, wtf you mean 1.3k likes for something I wanted to show recognition for?! I thank y'all, as this was just a day ago. Second, i agree with you guys who has replied. Deathstroke was an enemy but it really is something when your enemy wants you dead but respects you nonetheless.

Mr. Freeze just had the saddest origin story for a Batman villain, under those circumstances I could see almost anyone becoming a villain, it makes his line here even more impactful
Ngl, for as mocking as joker sounds, he knows that without Batman he'll lose the only reason for him to be who he is anymore. And for as cold as Mr. Freeze sounds, he's being objective, as Batman tried to help him and his wife in the past.
It’s truly amazing how all his villains understand him in similar and different ways and they all comfort him whether saying he’ll be with his parents or that he died with honor

And they still call him by batman, they truly respect him. Unlike Superman and Aquaman they were not born into this. Superman was an alien that happened to find his way here, and Aquaman was lucky enough to be born half human half atlantean. But Batman wasn't here by chance, he went through the trauma of his parents being killed before his very eyes. Batman works his way up to be able to survive what is an estimated 63 tons of TNT, Batman is the one who's able to show the justice league, that mean is the one out doing opponents with a higher IQ, Batman knows when the bullets been fired backwards in time, Batman learned every martial arts and studies every field of knowledge no matter how obscure it may be. Batman is a man of commitment, and fear will. He's been shot, stabbed, burned, blown up, his bones have been broken, his bones have been fractured and cracked. But even after literally dying he has still kept fighting, he still keeps going even if he needs to build a suit to realign all 206 broken bones. Batman has a very particular set of skills he's a quiet over Decades of training, researching, and perfecting. Superman has overwhelming power he's learned to control with a great father figure, Aquaman's a literal King and kings are selected by birth. Batman is a human, he can't have gotten here without hard work - even Bane is a roided up monster and Batman still out does him. While Batman is this lifting 3,000 ton in his cave Superman is outside lasering he's shave with his heat vision, seeing through entire wall, here in conversations over a mile away, and Aquaman's down in the ocean chilling. But Batman gets back up and keeps fighting even if it costs him his life, even if he has to move Boulders enough sewer that's flooding so he can save one innocent life. Batman goes above and beyond even when he's fighting, Superman has to hold back and Aquaman gets to command almost all of the biosphere. But Batman's one man with a select group of trusted individuals he sometimes does work with, and he even has an alter ego called Macho's Malone. Batman's the one who keeps fighting even if he's hopping through time after dying to have dark sides Omega beams, doing it with no logical reasoning as he gains energy and eventually comes to the future with a super power of being a bomb. Batman will even stay inside the cave for a month to get a drug out of his system that turns out to be an early version of venom, time he could spend out on the streets. Batman does this because while he could be out on the streets, he is being excessively brutal and not thinking straight which can cause more harm than good. Batman has one close partner he does stuff with, two but that one's digital and she used to be Batgirl before Joker did some stuff. No matter how much suffering he sees, no matter how much death he witnesses, pain he indoors, tortured former members of the bat family Batman does. Not. Right.
That Victor views his cryo-suit as a coffin ⚰️ instead of a cool costume is what I took away from that line. The retconned origin of Mr. Freeze being born the night he was powerless to save his wife, made him a great dark mirror for Batman’s own origin story.

The man who’s whole identity is based on finding worse and worse fears…is honestly real wholesome for telling him that he doesn’t have to fear anything anymore

People are not understanding the fact. Batman is respected by his enemies for never breaking his code with them, even if they pushed him to the limit. Honor to the very end of his life A Samurai. "Ninja skills" are not on the table. Is the way he lived
It’s also makes sense cause if batman turned evil and became a villain Gotham would be completely destroyed he was already somewhat feared when he was a hero but he would be feared by everyone even the other heroes would fear him and he is rich and has tech more advanced than the tech on the planet and also he wouldn’t be holding back anymore which is scary its because he always has been holding back just like superman

why is this actually wholesome like deathstroke and two face actually were respectful respectful
On behalf of Two-Face, given how he was buddy-buddy with Bruce in a few continuities, seeing this end is something alright.

So was scarecrow I’d say even if he didn’t know the power his statement actually held

Not. Right.
