- Notre Dame vs. Virginia Tech: The No. 24 Hokies got 309 yards passing from quarterback Ryan Willis, but it wasn't enough to hold off a potent Fighting Irish offense in a 45-23 loss Saturday night. Virginia Tech wide receiver Damon Hazelton caught 12 passes for 131 yards and a touchdown in defeat. Notre Dame running back Dexter Williams rushed for 178 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win for the No. 6 Irish.

@@airprok8328 just glad the running game showed up in the second half, because Dex is really good, but has to keep improving on his pass blocking, but the dude opens up the pass game in a big way when he's running wild. I also hope Armstrong is available next weekend, that's going to be a very good duo at RB, still alot too look forward to and improve upon...
@@MrJessejames317 The offense looks unstoppable. We've come out and scored on the first drive almost every game. Our deep passing threat has secondaries taking a step back and with Dexter now when they ease up we hand it off and he is capable of going the field for a touchdown. This Irish team is the best and most complete team Kelly has formed yet
@@kevinnally1362 I hope we blow Pitt out before half time next week, I like to see alot of freshman play, especially PJ, Austin, Keys and Lenzy on offense and the Twins, Griffith, Simon and Allen on defense, it's good for their confidence and development getting game play action...
They better put ND at 4 and drop Clemson. They haven't played any tough teams yet and almost lost to Syracuse.
Derek Reinmiller ND will probably only move up 1 more because Clemson won by 60. But overall I think Notre Dame is a better team.

@@amarirasheed6 Clemson has played Furman, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, Wake Forest, Georgia Southern and Texas A&M.Clemson has not played one actual good team team this year. ND beat Michigan in an instant classic,a good Stanford team and domitated VT in that very hostile environment. I'm not saying ND is better than Clemson this season but you have no real evidence for that claim. It's unknown who is the better team unless they meet in a bowl game this season

Don’t forget Pitt can play and beat top ranked teams and have done it the past 2 years and then will lose to a team they should easily beat. However they should not sleep on Pitt. Northwestern also gave Michigan a game at home. Pat Fitzgerald is starting to build up Northwestern to be a decent program in college football.

What an atmosphere in Blacksburg, it was awesome to see all those beautiful young Southern women dancing at the beginning of the game. It was 30 years ago in 1988 when Notre Dame won their last National Title. Here Come The Irish. Rudy Rudy Rudy.

Great highlight package! Does anyone else see more and more displays of disrespect from players to each other and to the fans in college football lately? The Shushing motion, the kid getting up and wanting to fight the vt kid. I dont need to post names. But I can take the Pros doing it. I can't watch when collegiate players show BAD sportsmanship. Suspend your players Coaches. Big Name schools have more Class than that. They owe it to those who played before them because they are watching and still rooting for their alma mater.
