Manusmriti never promoted Casteism...... The 4 varnas are not a type of Caste or 'jati'. The 4 varnas are based on occupation, not Birth, and also there were no discrimination between them(later, when British re-edited the Manusmriti people thought that the 4 Varnas are castes and they started discrimination between them). The 4 varnas was based on 3 Gunas, they are:- i)Gyani (knowledge) ii)Tyaagi (solitaire) iii)Sambhug Soch (thinking) Valmiki, the writter of Ramayan was also a Shudra, then why did people including Brahmins at that time read and promoted it. Kalidasa was a excellent Shudra scholar who literally works were in trend at that time. Manusmriti never promoted Casteism...... The 4 varnas are not a type of Caste or 'jati'.
The 4 varnas are based on occupation, not Birth, and also there were no discrimination between them(later, when British re-edited the Manusmriti people thought that the 4 Varnas are castes and they started discrimination between them).
The 4 varnas was based on 3 Gunas, they are:-
i)Gyani (knowledge)
ii)Tyaagi (solitaire)
iii)Sambhug Soch (thinking)
Valmiki, the writter of Ramayan was also a Shudra, then why did people including Brahmins at that time read and promoted it.
Kalidasa was a excellent Shudra scholar who literally works were in trend at that time.
Most of the Art, paintings, sculptures, music etc were done by Shudras at that time who were highly honoured at that time.
A person whose father is a Shudra that doesn't means that child will also be Shudra.
The laws mentioned in Manusmriti were promoting equality among them. Even, a Brahmin was more punished than a Shudra for his/her sin.
I don't know why u people blindly believe on whatever this western media says rather than reading and researching about Manusmriti.😕
