I've subscribed to your channel a couple of months ago, and I am really, but really happy of having found you. Your method of teaching is just the way we should speak English in the real life and it helps me a lot with new vocabulary and grammatical structures on real contexts for British and American English pronunciation. I do really appreciate your job Kat and Mark, you are the best English teachers on internet. 🧡
Wow thank you so much for your lovely message - we really really appreciate it 💙 We're glad you found us and that we can help you on your English journey!
Really nice content and the way to repeat some sentences several times. It's really helpful for me like Asian people studying English as foreign language. British and American accent both are awesome. Very interesting.
Thanks so much for the lovely comment! We're really glad you found us and enjoyed studying with us! We hope to continue making many more videos to help you in the future!
You both are great 👍 I must commend your effort. I basically learn from your conversations and not even from the phrases you usually stress. i learn little little ways of using some words in sentences. I love you both from Nigeria❤
I loved this class, because I’m living in London and I like use buses .It’s relaxing went you are travelling on second floor on the bus and may to see around of city😅😅❤
Thank you so much for the explanations about "Add cash, top up, and fill up". Now, I know clearly which country usually uses those phrases (The UK or the USA) .
I remembered the time I used the bus in London. I didn't know the area by the driver is for elderly people. That was why I always had a seat easily. I am in the seventies. Cheers!
Thanks for your teaching!!! ❤ I also, don't use public transport a lot... 'cause it's really unpredictable in my town. But it's definetly cheap... for half hour drive you pay less than 1 USD!!!
I do...!! I commute by car, cause I live in a small town in the Patagonia (Argentina) and work in the (how do you say) "next" town... almost 30 km away... 😸🤠
"I work in the next town over" or "the neighboring town" ooh but 30 km away so you could also say... "I work in the next town over, even though it's 30 km away!" "I work in the neighboring town, but the closest town is 30 km away!"
Thank you very much of your effort,we appreciate both kf you .really we need reel conversation because most of peaple they know the rules of english language but they strugle while speaking duo to the lack of vocabular .if you don't mind we want reel conversation at workplace as you know most of your followers are non native speakers wich means that english language is used a lot at work we want to be fluent at this field
Thank you so much for your kind words and observations! It's true, we need lots of examples of real life scenarios, we hope to add in some work vocabulary/work conversations in the future! Thank you for your suggestions.
Excellent video❤ it was very suprising to me that I couldnt see any public transportation in the USA. My friend even warned me not to ask about transportation to any one since it would be ridiculous in a car dependent country 😂 having said that, I did take a bus and it was a shuttle bus in Atlanta airport, which was an old piece of rusty crap 😂 the most old fashioned bus I have ever seen in fact. Anyway, the video was amazing, sporadic is a new term for me ❤
It’s definitely true that in many places in the US people rely on their cars, but we're glad you found the bus episode helpful! Some bus systems are growing in the States, but in reality our neighborhoods and cities are designed around cars, there's no way around it!
My dear teachers, Kat and Mark; as a very slow learner, I would like to say that I see your language teaching method as very correct and I think it would be useful for you to know that this style has an effective function in teaching languages. Especially your presentation of American and British accents together is very creative and innovative. Dear professors, as a follower of yours, I would be grateful to you if you could speak a little more slowly and present your lesson while teaching. In conclusion, I wish good luck to both of you and wish you continued success.
Thank you for your kind words! We really appreciate it. These episodes in our advanced English podcast are meant to be naturally spoken conversation which means it our classes are spoken at a normal speed for native speakers. Our intermediate classes are a bit slower and simpler, taking time for understanding over speed. In the meantime, you can slow down our youtube videos by going to Settings, Playback Speed and choose a slower option like .75 in order to hear the sound slower than normal, I hope it will help you gain more understanding and confidence!

Wow that's very cost-effective! It's a shame it's not more reliable though. Do you usually drive to places?
I do...!! I commute by car, cause I live in a small town in the Patagonia (Argentina) and work in the (how do you say) "next" town... almost 30 km away... 😸🤠

I top with my phone on the card reader but they take the money directly from my bank account app.
Easy peasy! That's often how it works in the UK as well. You just tap and go!

How would an American say "FAIRLY RELIABLE"? Maybe "Pretty RELIABLE????
Good question! Yes, an American speak might say: "pretty reliable" :)
