Arthur wasn't a bad man inside, but his lifestyle and up bringing made him one. And in all honesty, high honour or low honour he definitely ain’t a good man, rather a conflicted one.
**Arthur Morgan: The Ballad of a Good Man** In the cradle of the Rockies, 'neath the western skies so wide, A boy was born with rugged hands, the West’s wild heart inside. Arthur Morgan was his name, a child of earth and air, Bound by fate to walk a path of hardship and despair. A life etched deep in shadowed trails where justice often bends, He rode beneath the outlaw's star, yet yearned for noble ends. With hat brim low and steely gaze, he tread the twilight's rim, In search of what it means to be a man, to live and die with him. The gang, his kin, his family, in Dutch he placed his trust, A brotherhood of misfits, bound by dreams and wanderlust. They rode through fields of crimson gold, through tempest and through calm, Arthur fought to find his way, with pistol, horse, and psalm. In moments stilled by sunset's fire, reflection’s bitter kiss, He questioned life’s unyielding hand, its fleeting, ruthless bliss. "Is a man a sum of deeds," he mused, "of scars and sins confessed? Or is he more in heart and soul, in the quiet of the quest?" A paradox of tenderness within his hardened shell, He helped the weak, gave what he could, amid the guns and hell. A light of hope in darkest night, a guardian of the lost, His kindness like a fleeting ghost in the lands of snow and frost. For in his heart there lingered dreams, of love, of peace, of home, A cabin by a tranquil stream, a place no more to roam. Yet destiny’s unyielding grip would draw him to the fray, A puppet to the winds of fate, a hero's slow decay. Through treachery and brother's fall, through fevered, fleeting breath, He faced his trials with weary grace, a dance of life and death. For Arthur knew the bitter truth, the end that always nigh, That every man must meet his fate, beneath the boundless sky. He pondered on what makes a man, as blood soaked through the ground, Is it the battles fought and won, or peace within us found? "Am I condemned for all I've done, for all the lives I've led? Or can redemption light my path, when darkness lies ahead?" In a final act of selfless grace, he let the echoes speak, To save a friend, to end the pain, the strong must guard the weak. With dying breath, he found his peace, a whisper on the air, A promise to the rising sun, a soul laid ever bare. Arthur Morgan, outlaw king, a man of grit and flame, His spirit like a raging storm, untamed, unbound, untamed. In life he sought the truest path, in death he found his way, A testament to all who dream, beneath the sky so grey. His life a tale of shadowed light, of honor’s fractured gleam, A poignant hymn to what could be, to hope’s enduring dream. For every man who walks this earth must face the dark unknown, And strive to be a better soul, in lands where winds have blown. So let his story linger on, through ages yet untold, A legend of the twilight west, of hearts both fierce and bold. Arthur Morgan, flawed and true, a complex, haunted man, A testament to human will, to rise, to fall, to stand.
The best part of that game from my point of view is that when arthur meets marie in saint denis he says that my money stuck in black water because of some bastard if he had that money he would not with be in his gang he would changed from an outlaw to civilized person and lived with marie as he told many times in game the world no more needs people like us that says he just wishing a good life .The game where a story can be fiction but how come these emotions affects people in real life thats how a game should be created such that player should be able to play as if he is playing or living that character in the game. Thank you rockstar for this amazing experience of a game like this wishing more games like these❤🎉
Man this guy Arthur morgan literally broke my heart that I couldn't feel anything for 1 week even though I didn't play it cause I don't have any to play it I just watched walkthrough
Me too bro, it's hard to play the epilogue to the end after knowing that Arthur isn't coming back. But it's worth it, finish it because you can avenge Arthur's death
You know, it may sound a little ridiculous, but I was so in love with that character that for a moment, if I had a chance or if it were real and if I knew him, I would give my life for him, but he wouldn't even accept that, and what makes him a good man is that he is actually close to such stories. God help them if there are people going through this and if you read this, thank you.
Dude i felt just the same. I was just sittinng in front of my PC looking at Arthur and thinking i knew everything about him like i know everything about my real best friend. His dead just broke me, and im kinda "tough" to cry but when i saw him suffering till his dead i cried lakes of tears... Arthur Morgan was a good man sorrounded by bad pepople, but his loyalty didnt let him left them...
There is no good or evil there is just the power the winners are the ones who are strong enough to seek it and then well those who dont have power are just used as pawns in a bigger game to anyones comprehension except the strong and not powerful they only see the world as good and evil the powerful see the world as just a tool and then the weak don’t see the world they just oblige to the words and orders of the powerful

He was the best
