- Here is the first drive and my first impressions of my BPM Sport tune for my E92 M3. I have stage II. I really like the power delivery and the car feels more mature. I would say torque is more noticeable earlier and the increased red line is amazing. I hope to change the cold start...what can I say, I am old school haah.

I have the BPM TCU and ECU tune on my e92 m3. With DCT you can feel the power come on and hold after you shift. its amazing

how is the long term reliability with this tune?
chris tantalo I've had it for 5 years, it's as reliable as stock, if not better cause the car runs better, smoother. Can't say enough good things about this tune. I'm completely satisfied for over 5 years!
Had this tune in my e90 M3 with Akra Evo and DCT tune. I noticed an immediate difference in the torque and power. Beautiful tune.

Stock M3 is tuned for 89 octane (fact). Changing parameters to function strictly on 93 does most definitly change the power output and delivery, even more so with primary’s gone over a fully catted car.
I have been running BPM STGII (93 octane)tune on my car for well over 80k Miles and I’m not exaggerating when I say the car feels stronger and more violent today (with 113k on the clock, 96k of which are mine). The Car is so much smoother, steering is better and overall it makes the M3 into an animal. Test pipes and BPM tune TRANSFORM the E9X platform. This is what I know the E92 to be for so long that I kind of want to drive a stock car again to remind myself what the delta really is. There is no way any warm blooded human can drive my car and not leave the car with a semi and a heavily raised pulse rate and sweaty palms. 5 yrs in and I love it more everyday, great to see you take a similar journey with your car. BTW for the past 30k I drive 80% of the time with DCS OFF. MOdified MDM is a good training wheels step before you realize how much it still limits you power delivery. Turn of traction and you will think you just got an upgraded tune haha.
helpful information! I'm glad the 93 tune makes a difference, I wasn't sure if it would be much of a difference that I could tell. For now I will use MDM with traction control. I don't wanna be sliding into any walls. Many times MDM really lets you hoon around!

Just input my BPM Sport Stage I tune this morning. BIG difference in performance over stock, event though I still have my cats in place. Car will break tires loose from a dead. Other mods I have are pulley and MS Stage II intake. Nice vid.
Having a dash light you can't extinguish is aggravating. Glad you took care of that. Looking forward to seeing how the new tune will handle the DRAGON!

I wanted to ask as to what Exhaust setup you recommend for a High-flowing cats or something thats not just pure test pipes because i sadly live in california and don't want the car to be too obnoxiously loud and draw unwanted attention from the police. Would you recommend anything like a akrapovic exhaust, supersprint, or something else? Also did you have any luck with a short shift kit ?

Tune out the cold start meaning what exactly?
the e92 m3 has a cold start function that warms up the catalytic converter faster for emissions reasons but it makes the car sound more aggressive at start up.
So when you say "tight" steering do you mean the ratio? Or the firmness of the wheel?
essentially making the steering feel heavier.

It’s hydraulic but still has electronics tied to it I assume

No because the primary cats aren't in...the exhaust will still not be clean enough for E check.
