this is sweet -- Love the meta decks for ppl who dont know the usuals, but these brews are really sick, and yeah that shadow deck is sweet too, a lot of cool innovations
A sweet card to add into the sideboard would be feed the swarm. It helps kill blood moon or magus of the moon and you lose life as plus. Really loved the deck.
Additionally, I generally don't think Grixis shadow is good, it's trying to do too much and not good in any of those things. I would drop the blue and just play rakdos, go up on Fomo and phoenix's and just go for an aggressive plan instead, if I was to stick with the blue splash then I'd definitely take stubborn denial over spell pierce, most things you want to pierce you can do anyway with stubby D like ring on turn 4, and you have like 5 creatures to get you over that 4 power threshhold, could dump your hand to frog in response to a spell and then stubborn denial your opponent
Yeah! The list felt pretty good but I was a little confused at the absence of stubby, seems so free to enable. This was just a list that did well. I do think Rakdos shadow could be a bit better as well.
@@neonmushroom6763 I just feel like you either need to commit to being aggro or tempo, this deck is trying to be both and does neither quite that well, I don't even think you actually got to cast frog 😅
Y no Dismember, is the card not playable in Modern anymore? Thought that if Flame of Anor is dealing 5 and that's fine, then Dismember -5/-5 and growing shadow would be good? What about Tarfire or Nameless Inversion to synergise with Nethergoyf?

Just hold up interaction in the early turns (or just jam a Froge on 2 backed up by a force + blue card😂😂) Can't wait to try Satoru, Unearth, and Oculus once I get 3 more😁😅

I could see playing a tar fire maybe, dismember seems medium since the removal is already good, inversion is probably unplayable I think
