      agreed, JDS took a lot of damage in this fight. It also costed him some of his soul.

      Yeah, unfortunately for JDS, he had a dumb trainer/corner that didn't know when to throw in the towel, JDS could of had a great career/ post Cain/ if only the trainer had thrown in the towel, emthe 3rd fight with Cain is especially where I think JDS will to fight was ended as JDS that was known to fight no matter what threw his hands on his head and his head on the mat to signal he had quit, JDS started doing this after the cain fight. We lost a great one here in this trilogy with JDS but we gained a great one in Cain, reminds me of Goku and Vegeta, these both beasts ran the heavyweight division back and forth like their life depended on it and only one could come out if it, unfortunately JDS didn't come out and his inner will to fight was ended in this brutal trilogy with Cain.

      Think they both lost a part of themselves in that trilogy. JDS lost way more health, but I think Cain just hasn't had the same hunger anymore after that trilogy despite still being healthy.

      @@breakdancerQ I heard that Cain also had shit trainers. They never prioritized his weak knees and instead wore them out even more. Cain's knees are done. Truly sad that fighters can lose their career over the stupidity of others.

    For some reason, jds doesn't capitalise on opponent's weak moments and likes to make the fight longer. I have seen this in many of his fights. Probably likes to win with proper sportsman spirit by letting his opponents get back on their feet. Not like other fighters who just likes to finish the match quick and somehow win by capitalizing on opponent's weak moments. Probably I respect him for that reason. And also because he can take some badass whopping and still be on his feet. This guy's stamina is on another level.
    Also respect to Cain. He is a pure beast.

      Prime would’ve murdered ngannou, Cain had a unbelievable engine in the octagon, ngannou got fucked up by stipe because he had no tank plus stipe is better

      Cain would most certainly get early takedowns but would never stand and trade with Ngannou like he did here with JDS. Probably would’ve been called a boring fight cause Cain would’ve most likely kept Ngannou down on the mat.

      Same result. Stop with the prime excuses, he was 36 years when he fough ngannou, and its not like it was close enough to depend on the youth LMAO. The past generation of hws has nothing to do with the actual generation. In styles, and in everything else. Prime velasquez wouldnt last a round against stipe miocic

    reminiscent of Barao-Dillashaw, where dominant champ Barao goes undefeated for 32 fights, gets his brains scrambled by Dillashaw twice, then goes 1-7 to end his career in utter disgrace

      @rvnwy7261 5 лет назад +1

      Manuel Luna You are supposed to keep going until the ref pulls you off, JDS did nothing wrong.
      Headbutts on the other hand are straight up illegal and give you an unfair advantage. Guys like Gaethje and Cejudo are fan favorites but they are dirty asf.

      @@rvnwy7261 actually smart guy, you can't do certain strikes when an opponent has both arms and knees on the floor, a hammerfist to the back of the cranium being one of those illegal strikes.
