      P Star mexicans for ya

    • @davevillarreal
      @davevillarreal 9 лет назад +2

      P Star i know because i'm one, although i'm also american since i was born in the usa, and if cain lost, you can bet that they would of been booing him and saying that he's a piece of garbage and not good at all, its disguting really, one of the reasons why it sucks to be mexican is that you get associated with the general public image of them, and even though i'm a mexican, i like jds better, still like cain but i can relate to jds' childhood more

    • @pattypcollins
      @pattypcollins 9 лет назад

      David Villarreal I'm just not a fan of fans booing fighters in general unless they do something dirty in the fight. My respect for JDS increased after this loss anyone else would've quit during this beating.

    • @davevillarreal
      @davevillarreal 9 лет назад

      yea i'm the same dude, although there are exceptions for me like chael sonnen who is one of the best talkers in mma, the diaz brothers for being themselves and keepin' it real and jon jones, although i will not and cant vouch for everything he does but i like the dude for his skill and for saying things the way he sees them (daniel cormier), although i wish he just embraced the bad guy role in the sense of a champion and was more real with himself and ditch the whole "good public image" persona when he does interviews and such, but i just wanted to explain that it was most likely ignorant mexicans that were booing jds that dont know shit about the sport or the fighters except that one of them is of mexican heritage SMH -_-

    • @pattypcollins
      @pattypcollins 9 лет назад +1

      David Villarreal I think the majority of people that you can hear booing though are drunk Americans in Las Vegas. Most fights held in Vegas have disrespectful drunks booing whenever there isn't a knockout.
      I want to be a fan of Jon Jones but he keeps disappointing us outside of the cage and while I believe he is one of the most talented fighters today I think people understate how dirty his eyepokes in the cage are.

    Actually I am sure it was more than just Brazilians who lost money on JDS so it was probably also a lot of unhappy Americans as well.
    I know Mexicans love JDS and think he has tons of heart and would never boo a warrior like him. Why would they care since Cain Velasquez the Mexican won. They were to happy to boo JDS. I know I was cheering for like 10 minutes and happy as hell when Cain won. I was shocked people booed JDS.

    Exactly, this and his cardio won him the fight, I've re watched the fight several times and I kept noticing how defensive JDS fought, he should've kept Cain away by throwing more fists but yeah, Cain did everything right, had a strong game plan and followed trough, i'm really curious to see how both guys will approach the 3rd fight, its going to be a battle.

    How is he cocky? Just because you come into a fight thinking you'll win doesn't mean you're cocky. If anything Cain is even more cocky, in the countdown he said "nobody is better then me, especially JDS." JDS is not cocky at all you're supposed to come into a fight thinking you'll get the win. He doesn't brag about himself, the biggest thing he said was "I think I have power in my hands"

    And he probably will never be the same again. People right now like to think that a fighter will come back stronger and more motivated after a lose like that, but that is far form the truth. More often than not a beating like the one JDS took takes a lot out of a fighter and may even end his career.
    Not trying to bash JDS, but I have a feeling the cards are stacked against him. I honestly think this beating hurt him psychologically, he won't be the same fighter.

    I'm a JDS fan and I haven't seen this fight but leading up too it I thought he might lose. In his pre fight press he seemed to be getting a bit cocky by emphasising his 1 punch knock out power which he obviously was relying on, evident in his extra bulk. Having said all that he was gracious in defeat which is the sign of true champ. Can't wait for the trilogy!
