I randomly noticed fennel seeds in the grocery store one day and immediately felt like I needed them nutritionally. I like the taste of licorice so I bought them and started putting them on everything..eggs, salads, burgers etc. just about everything. For some reason I forgot about them but seeing this video reminded me and I am definitely having lots today! Thank you! 🙏🏼👍🏼😃

My version of Golden Milk. I drink it anytime of day but always have a mug just before bedtime: I grind some fennel seeds and cardamom seed pods with my mortar and pestle. In a heat proof measuring cup I add the crushed seeds, some turmeric, ginger, nutmeg, clove, and cinnamon. Pour just boiled water over the spices and let sit for around 10 minutes, strain filling a large mug 2/3 full and then adding soy milk (or other plant milk) and sweeten to taste with maple syrup. It's delicious and your spouse will fart much, much less. 🤣

That is definitely not a good platform of which is going to enhance the bennifical properties of the Herbs in your mixture...So drop the "SOY" MILK" and use oat milk or goat milk or just hot water... "SOY" is not meant for human consumption...

I have always made fennel tea with 1 tsp fennel seeds to 2 cups of boiling water poured over them in a glass measuring cup. Let them steep 7 minutes, then pour thru a tea strainer into a cup. For an adult, I add 1 tsp of honey. It tastes like "Bit O Honey" candy!
For babies with colic, a tsp without honey, in a bottle stops it. I've been giving my lil old yorkie dog a tsp daily, & it has stoppped her from panting hard all night & makes her tummy soft after it relieves her bloating.

Fennel seeds have blood-thinning properties due to their content of natural compounds that can affect blood clotting. For someone taking prescribed blood thinners, adding fennel seeds to their diet could potentially enhance the effects of their medication, leading to an increased risk of bleeding or bruising.
It's always best to consult with a healthcare provider or a dietitian before making any significant changes to your diet, especially if you are on medication or have underlying health conditions. They can provide personalized advice based on your health status and the specific medications you are taking.

Absolutely! Fennel seed water has some pretty interesting health benefits, and there is some research suggesting its components might have properties that could be beneficial in preventing or fighting off certain types of cells, including those associated with cancer. It's always amazing to learn how natural ingredients can contribute to our health in various ways. Of course, it's important to remember that no single food or drink can cure diseases, and such remedies should complement a healthy lifestyle and medical advice. 😊
