If you will not destoy all the barns by the time ends, the giant army will arrive. I've stopped it only with chemical warfare - I had fun. It was hardest siege I've ever encountered
heh kinda wish that first mission had the idea where some early waves were hard but if you leave the granaries up then more and more troops will spawn with them, maybe as an incentive to get you goin
i kept focusing on the economy and out of the blue the rat had like a thousand swordman !!, since when Rat have Swordmen, I think i should try to finish the mission asap
Ah rimworld, too much polished floors early on, they really take lots of time. Research in common room means you get often pentaly for any dirt in the room, and making them underground means that for early game when research is most important you suffer pentatly until floors are polished. Make small wooden room outside with wooden flooring & 1 light ofc. Underground bases also delay setting up wires/lights until walls are smoothed [TIME] even from single screenshot its possible to deduce a lot of tips for you next colony
I'm struggling with the mid game! Think I'm a bit clueless at dealing with attacks when I have my assault rifles I'm playing on max difficulty btw, lower difficulties are now a breeze
Yeah I figured mortars are absolutely necessary when playing on high difficulty, psychic ships and sieges are impossible to hold without casualties unless you have mortars! Seems like the goto strategy for high difficulties (even 500%) is to just spend the entire early game on the research bench! Unlocking assault rifles and mortars before you do anything else is a must

14:27 I hate this game 😂 , I just tried to win this mission and said that exactly before I opened this video
Crazy how actually strong the rat is in here.
HE HAS SWORDSMENNNNN
Nice gameplay

rest in kebabs
now i'm hungry, thanks jeff -.-
Jeff if you turned into one unit in Stronghold what would you become
I love swords so most likely a swordsman!
I love crossbowmen too though, character wise I like them more!
@@Jefflenious What about a crossbow that launches swords.
@@Thaumogenesis wtf no, that's not how you use swords!
You will get mad at this: In the final siege you can take the engineers out of the ram and you them to build portable shields and trebuchet.
I took too long to finish the first mission and you can't belive the size of the rats final army...
