Ironic since the timurids did that irl, but their decendants were one of their good allies.
If you get the nomad focus tree as timurids, you can get ‘horseman of apocalypse mission’ which gives +20 cav combat ability and +50 flanking range. If you annex both ottomans and mamelukes you get mission ‘amongst the great powers’ which gives +10 cav inf and art combat ability. These are all permanent so when you form mughals you keep them. Theres also a timurid mission ‘conquer hindustan’ which gives you plunder economy that allows you to take nomadic ideas. So you can take nomadic and then later take aristocratic. Both of these also give massive buffs to cav combat ability which you will also keep going into mughals

If you form Mughals as Qara Qoyunlu, you can get 'Modernized Turkmen federation', which will allow you to get janissary.

you can adopt the raze gov mechanic for 50% instead of the diwan tier 3 reform and then just form any horde of your choosing instead of mughals

How do you deal with governing capacity?
I tried wc once, starting as oirat, governing capacity was a pain in ass
As you may have noticed, I had 3 reforms on 150 gov capacity
