That Neewer and T bone cases are sexy! I love a good case for gear. I'm also jealous you got the Black Oktava. I couldn't find it when I was buying mine. Looking forward to the rest of the reviews! I subbed as well!
Indeed they are… kind of feel overkill in some way - and I wonder how much of the purchase price is the case itself and how much the microphones. I am actually really happy I got the Black Oktava 🙈. It's so sleek and sexy - and… spoiler… I am pretty certain I will keep the Oktava in the end. Thanks for the sub… I am subbed to you too since you are doing really interesting topics and it's fun to see other RUclipsrs who have similar gear to see what we are all thinking about and doing with it. Cheers 🌸
That’s awesome. I am - right now - exporting the Behringer C-2 review with lots of test footage. The Oktava will go inline as the 4th in the series and will be published on the 2nd of November. Spoiler… 😅 as of right now I am about 95% sure that I am going to be keeping the Oktava 🥰. Looking forward to your thoughts and comments. 🤓
@@philipp594 I understand. What I understand Is the top model NT5 sold in pair or single but the great M5 only in pairs. A good alternative is Lewitt 040 or 140 good alternatives. Both are black and great reviews and in same price level as M5. Could be an alternative... I have other Lewitt mics and they are amazing and will order a pair of 040 to be used in a church and the smaller the better...
@@TriNguyenCOT The microphones you proposed are pretty expensive and surely high quality & good sounding. Specifically the Neumann with the cardioid capsule would probably work pretty well (depending on your room). However, if you want to keep the presence you currently have in your live streams (as in clear and deep voice), then you probably are better off keeping the mic you currently use as all mics which are more distant will give you a more distant sound.

I am really excited for this series, as I am currently looking to upgrade from my Behringer C2 Set to the Oktava. You just gained a new subscriber!

Any alternatives to the Oktava, that are not made in Russia / by Rosnef / fund bullets to be shot at Ukrainians?
Probably look at some from Røde / Sennheiser or the ones I reviewed as alternatives.
I agree that Oktava is not alternative at the moment. I bought a matchen pair of Rode NT5 and those are amazing.
@@larstenfaelt1859 I would like a single black one ... sadly Rode doesn't offer that and I haven't found anyone to split a set with either ...

@@larstenfaelt1859 I specificly like the option of the hypercardiod / cardiod capsule, because I want to record dialog in a poorly insulated room.
Hi! I would like to ask. Would you recommend this pencil mic for podcast? Since it is a small diaphragm microphone? Thank you! Great video btw!
Behringer C-2 is cardioid, not hypercardioid
darn sound artifacts. all goooood
🙈
Nice studio setup .
Thanks, I appreciate that 🌸.
Hi ! Can i use Telefunken M62 or Neumann KM 185 for Podcast & livestream ? Please help me !
This is very unspecific and I do not know what your actual question is.
@@ChrisSpiegl | i mean that is it good for broadcasting, vocals and speech ?
