All these CDTs and LCDTs in the comments are criticising this squadron just because they've completed basic training so they now think they know everything. So I a flight Sergeant from 4wing would like to mention the things done correctly in the video. Everyone mostly stayed in line with the person next to them, no one was drifting anywhere while mark timing and I love that there was a band, because we don't have that at our SQN
Not trying to be rude and I do not know the circumstances, but here is a list of problems. - When the squadron is marching on, someone on the first rank starts off the right foot (Supposed to be on the left). This causes everyone behind to be out of step - Arms, breast-pocket high. Some are like 4 cm high. - Timings, the music is supposed to keep everyone in time, but no. - Square-gating in the ranks. - Some arms are bent - Mark time positions: either too low or too high or too much cow-kicking.
An addition to your comment, also on the mark times not enough toe pointing (which you did line out) and an extra mark of turn timing. (One two three one) I saw probably not even one two
Cadets can be enjoying, special when tge have rank. Our unit sponsors Cadet unit and unfortunately a little Cadet wo2 had a Napoleon complex to the point he believed he out ranked an Australian Army Private. He was quickly shown the door. The Commander of the Cadet Unit rang us up wanted to know what happened. We explained that the Cadet was rude and attempted to order the Duty pers around. He was quickly back at the Duty Room apologising for his behaviour.
i am unsure if the band is differentiates between SQNs but it sounded like the drum corps played incorrectly for the right dress. also many were marching out of step and the 3rd marker's marktime reminded me of my own 7 wing which is bad. furthermore there were alot of people moving at the position of attention. the person who is next to the 1st flight marker didnt move his arms all the way back. on a positive note, everyone stayed at the same speed and remaind in the imaginary rectangle and no one pre-empted the movements which i am yet to see in my own SQN.
Where the 15cm marktimes and turn timings?? Edit: they legit threw AFDCMAN out the window... There is no timing in any of the movements, even the officer salute was a quick up down when it should have been up, 2, 3, down.
And why their feet curled up instead of being pointed down when doing a mark time...I know they in DPU boots, but even I can keep my feet pointed. Something I noticed from the flight sergeants too when they fell in.
Their mark time positions are not great and their marching should be at breast-pocket height. This is why 3 wing is better lol. The officers were all right and the markers.
no offence but my group of recruits all in orientation marched and turned better during their recruit weekend but idk how long these guys have been at the cadets so im 319 sqn btw
@@Marshmallow_ladle It looked like to me that everybody in the middle and right rank took off on their left foot where as the people in the left rank took off on their right foot

207 is notorious within the TG for their shit drill and this video just accompanied it.
They have less of an excuse to be out of time if they have drums
