I 100% agree. Love that these are getting re-released. (can't turn down new, pristine mono Beatles!) I agree they should make a follow up set (or two). And YES they should release a CD version also. Maybe after the vinyl sets are said & done? Several song mixes still aren't available digitally. (the original stereo "I Wanna Hold Your Hand," "Strawberry Fields Forever," fake stereo "Penny Lane"...) Those should be put out sometime. I'd even take the U.S. Sgt. Pepper without the runout groove! :D More Beatles is never something to complain about. ;)

It makes complete sense to me if they include Magical Mystery Tour, but Hey Jude, Rarities and The Christmas Album look like box set only items to me, like The Beatles' Story. Also, Rarities wasn't included on the stereo and mono box sets from 2009, 2012 and 2014... What about an American version of Past Masters or Mono Masters with stuff that was rare or only available as an import in the US back in the day?

Interesting concept for Vol. 2. My confusion on the price of the new set is the $120 difference for the box vs. buying them separately. You can’t tell me the Beatles Story is worth that much. Last year with the Red and Blue album. The box was only about $5-10 more than buying them separately.
@@BeatleDustino actually think the math is wrong because nobody mentions the taxes or shipping so I think it’s a lot less than that but the way I look at it is that everybody needs to be paid and that’s just how life is. Thanks for checking it out the video.
@@thinkbeatles As a Brit, I think America should go the way of the UK and increase the price of the individual albums so the cost of the box won't seem so extortionate. Yes, the albums are the equivalent of $42 each for the UK or $48 if you get them from Amazon. I don't understand the term cash grab that a lot of people are using. Surely all records are a cash grab as that is the point of business, to make money. If there's no profit in it, there will be no records at all.
I used Amazon to preorder this new box too and love your idea for a volume 2, surprised the Christmas album hasn't been reissued as an album for Record Store Day to go along with the 7" box.
Damn, they sold millions of theses exact records in the 60s. They’re still around. Moreover, in 2004-2005 they released the Capitol CDs on both mono and stereo. They sound great. This new release is a yawn.
The solution to dealing with pointless and expensive box sets is to just become rich? I don’t get it. The problem is a lot of people cannot afford these expensive box sets. If you have the money that’s good for you- but it’s weird boomer behavior to be incredulous towards people who can’t just pony up and pay. We don’t have the money, -so this release is basically exclusively for rich baby boomers. Enjoy it! ✌️❤️

@@thinkbeatles if they made releases that everyone can enjoy than younger generations can appreciate and enjoy the wonderful Beatles music. If they only make expensive releases aimed at older people than yes, I guess the music might die off??? I would think they’d try to capture the younger, vinyl buying market to create a sustainable business and share the music of the Beatles for the new generation. It seems like short term profits are of much more import at Apple than making sure the music stays alive. Thanks for responding, I just subscribed and have watched a few of your videos. @@thinkbeatles the music (and their story) is just too good. The Beatles will live on forever, like Bach and Mozart. Of course I’m a little dramatic when it comes to my Beatles, haha. One release for boomer nostalgia is fine- I just worry if they keep doing things solely for profit and not maintaining their legacy ina way that opens them up to new generations , it could get warped. But thankfully there are people like you making videos about the Beatles- so they will life forever. Thank you!! ✌️❤️
@@mikelcory4065 you do need to remember that it’s a company that’s doing it. I used to work for a big company and everybody wants their money. Everybody gets paid and it just wasn’t a few people making that product probably 50+ just an estimate. It’s just what companies do keep the money coming in every year or something new
The American Revolver is a waste of time. I’ll bet there’s millions of Capitol LPs out there in the wild. What’s the point of this release? The CD Capitol boxes with both mono and stereo from the master tapes are all you need. They sound wonderful. Love the channel.
