Hey Mark, Great video thanks for giving a unboxing the albums sure look nice!! That box is also very attractive. I hope they sound amazing enjoy the set let us know how they sound ok? Thanks for the video Take care!!!
Nice to see you again, been a few...I picked up the Meet The Beatles colored vinyl and it sounds very clean and a little up on the bass. Made in France. I hope you enjoy all of these and have a great Holiday Season. take care
Well hey Mark! Good to see you back. Glad you picked up the box. I just received my individual copies today. I’ve been dreamy feet on getting any of them, but took advantage of Udiscover’s 30% off sale. As I bought them individually, I’ll have individual videos every day this week showing them starting tomorrow.
Hi Mark. Good to see ya! I'll be passing on this one. I've got clean copies of the Canadian equivalents, which sound fantatic. In fact the earlier albums were mastered in Canada from the original UK matster tapes, AND they sound as good as the first UK pressings. Enjoy, none-the-less.
Capital bought up the Early recordings form all the other record companies, like Swan, VJ and Tollie, which had the rights to the songs from their first 1963 recordings/ first album. Thus you have The Early Beatles album. we never had much access nor did we even KNOW about the British albums until much later, esp after Beatles broke up in 1970.
“The Beatles are coming” I only wish the package for the box set was a little more appealing. I find it rather boring. The ad posters for the doc Beatles 64 are much more eye catching, this box set not so much. Of course the music is the true selling point.
i had two copies of Meet the Beatles, as an 8 year old kid a I wore the first one out lol. When you listen to the Beatles in Mono, THAT is what we heard on AM Radio in 1964 and bought in the stores. It is Historically correct, no rewriting history with remixes and crap. the idea that mono is inferior is only based on musical preferences you were exposed to from Clear channel's play manipulative profit driven lists and peer pressure. If one cannot accept the music in mono from the past, then you're not a music fan, you're a recording techie fan. You're not listening to harmonies, and musical instruments. Like complaining about a classic movie is in black and white instead of color. For both mono and black and white, let me give you some advice...you won't catch VD from listening in mono, or watching in black and white... no one goes into an art gallery and tries to change paintings or sculptures to their own liking, why should all these nonsensical remixes happen to these historical recordings? The Mona Lisa [the Mono Lisa lol] doesn't need to show more cleavage and wear mustache, okay? Well...maybe more cleavage lol. I am a retired music teacher, would not have been in music if it had not been for the Beatles 60 years ago, which led to my first piano lesson that same year...Actually a lot of young musical reactors are discovering older music, learning and broadening their musical preferences. that's a great thing
Hurrah back on TV 😊

Germany and Czech Republic are amazing pressings
Where have been mark
I'm a fan of the Beatles, but I have the Capital Years on CD, I don't need that collection.

if a more plain package seems boring, just wonder if you would have paid more for a fancy one...which is more important? The music or the cover?
