I seem to recall a Mega Play version of Streets of Rage 2 bit that's about it. I remember seeing it at the baseball stage. Literally the only memory I have.
Mate never heard any of the following..DD Crew, The Revenge of death adder or Arabian Fight lol! Might have to whip out the modded original Xbox to see if there on the list! Revenge of the death adder is definitely more appealing to me despite not being a huge fan of the mega drive series. Appreciate the video champ nice one 👍🏻
I really hope SEGA, one day, brings Revenge of Death Adder to the Arcade Archives series. I'd buy that in a heartbeat. Spikeout most definitely looks very interesting. Kinda reminds me of Dynamite Deka in a way. Again, I'd love to see this in Arcade Archives. Good video as always, Pete.
I really fondly remember the Spiderman game and DD Crew. I used to play Spiderman with my little brother and I have this really nostalgic memory of being allowed to just do what I wanted on a school trip to a Theme Park as I was well behaved but hated themepark rides, so I spent most of the afternoon in their arcade and played a fair bit of DD Crew and Vigilante. I had a question about Spikeout, was Slashout a part of that series? Fantastic round-up and great editing and presentation as always!
Great video. I never played played Arabian Fight, but it looks kinda chaotic ... What I also don’t understand: Why doesn’t Sega release Golden Axe - Revenge of Death Adder or, hell, all the games in this list that don’t include external licenses. I get why it’s hard to release Spider-Man or Moonwalker. But ... come on, I‘d buy D.D. Crew in a heartbeat!
Thanks! Yes, Arabian Fight is absolutely chaotic with three or four players on screen. I have no idea why they don't release more arcade compilations; they're really missing a trick.
Can't remember where I played it but I remember really enjoying the Spiderman game. Revenge of death adder looks awesome, really need to play it 😍. Great video as always mate 👍
The later Golden Axe was fantastic. It is ironic how I forgot about this title, for I do remember playing this in the arcades. Perhaps Sega will pre-release this in the arcades.
I kind of want to play _Tough Turf_ to see for myself the strangeness of the living painting thing going wall-eyed (1:44) - and is that poster advertising a modem of all things..?! (1:02)
Great video mate as a kid back in the days when I played Michael Jackson Moon Walker and SpiderMan at the arcades I always wished that theses two games would come home to the Sega mega drive but as a adult now I know now that it was not possible
Awesome vid Pete. I've noticed system 32 games tend to be quite tricky to emulate for some reason. It's frustrating as hell as Spider-Man and Golden Axe are two of my all time favourites. I used to play Spider-Man a lot back in 91 and the years after that. It's definitely in my top 5 most nostalgic arcade games.
Thanks, Rob! Yeah, only two of the nine System 32 games were ever ported, which suggests it was tricky hardware to translate to home consoles. Spider-Man is great, it looks so much like a comic book for the time.
This was an exceptional video. I really want to see them on PS4 as remasters. It sucks that these were never ported to home consoles. They are still incredible games.
Suprising to see you make a sega related video that’s not from sega lord X. But from the sega arcade beat em ups, Arabian magic and Spider-Man are my favorites
@@onaretrotip oh sorry. I meant to say that you make sega related videos too, but sega lord X comes to mind since he makes in depth review of every sega game. Lol
Would love to see a collection game for newer consoles as these Sega games were a big draw for me in the arcades when I was younger. Great vid Pete as always fella
one thing that didn't get mentioned about the Spiderman Arcade game is that like Gauntlet, your health is slowly ticking away, so even if you play flawlessly your still dying and its impossible to beat the game on one credit.
The amount of arcade exclusives always surprises me, few in there I’d never heard of... How did that version of moonwalker not get an awful port somewhere
If you went into an arcade expecting Double Dragon but got Tough Turf, well Tough Shit!!🤣🤣 Great vid Pete. Agreed, a few of these would’ve made great ports.....
Great video Pete. Whenever playing a Moonwalker game these days I can’t help but thinking the guys you’re killing are actually the protectors of kids, trying to keep them out of MJ’s child abusive hands... 😂
Today in age I think arcade games should come back on home systems and light gun shooters it's a criminal that these games don't come out anymore these games could really benefit from a newer audience plus the old ones like me and you
Spikeout looks a great game.... even though I prefer 2d beat em'ups this looks loads of fun if played in 2 player 😄 il never understand why spiderman never got a new port of some sort. Great vid as always pete buddy 👍
I see a future were sega start releasing these as downloadable titles. Of course I would like a collection on a cartridge but regardless I just wanna play these games easily on consoles with co op
Certainly a mixed bag. Strange Sega never had a standard engine and kept with it ala Capcom. The Spider-Man game looks nice, I’ve nicer actually played it.
@@onaretrotip yer Pete, its certainly odd consodering their consistancy witt the sprite scaling driving/flying genre. This was an interesting video mate. Well done :)
Most of these games were not that good. Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder being the exception, off course. Sega Beat 'Em Ups really shone on consoles. The Streets of Rage series elevated the Beat 'Em Ups genre. The Dynamite Deka series is great, though. They are, to me, the only 3D Beat 'Em Ups that works as they should. Another great video, Pete.
They could be put on Xbox PlayStation Nintendo switch I think people would really like these games especially the kids that never grew up with arcade games
If Microsoft + Nintendo + Google + SNK Playmore + Sony + sega / should just joint forces team up and make a ultimate console together it would be better for gaming 🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝
Had to reupload this as spotted a little mistake in the edit. Sorry!
You make awesome 😎 content also I found a beta version of splinter cell conviction what beta version should I find now?
I'm quite surprised Sega never made an arcade version of Streets of Rage, especially after how popular it was at home.
I seem to recall a Mega Play version of Streets of Rage 2 bit that's about it. I remember seeing it at the baseball stage. Literally the only memory I have.
I thinks cos it could be a slower paced game and wouldn't swallow the coins like they need
There Streets of Rage on the Mega Tech, but that doesn't really count as it was just the Mega Drive game on a different cart.
@@Emperix it did exist, I have a rom on mame
You're so underrated dude
Thank you very much! Kind words indeed.
Always love to see old arcade games i didnt knew about thanks for uploading

Yes, def worth giving them a bash on CoinOps mate. Death Adder is a great game. Thanks, Luke!
Brilliant video, always like the more obscure themes.
Thank you!
Great Video!
Thank you!
Tuff Turf looked like it was trying to take off Double Dragon .... BADLY ! Great vid 😎
Yup. Thanks!
Brilliant video 🙂 really enjoyed it. I used to love moonwalker in the arcades. All the best mate 🙂
Thanks mate, much appreciated!

Me too! They have so many arcade games that would be no-brainer releases today. Thanks, Jojo!
I used to love that Spiderman Arcade game. It looked great for the time, Almost like you where playing a comic book. Blew my mind when I was a kid
Agree completely. It looks just stunning for the time.
Great video
Thank you!

Yeah, Death Adder is a belter. Def recommend that one. Cheers, David.

They won't be re-releasing it in arcades, but would love a console port.
@@onaretrotip I was actually distracted while writing my last comment. I would like a console port as well.
I must play the golden axe, I love the original and this one looks great! Too video mate
Yes, def worth a bash mate. Thanks, Paul!
Great video!! Love Golden Axe Death Adder we play 3 players all the time on it. Will Definitley be trying the Spiderman game!!
Thanks, David! Being a big Marvel fan I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I used to love D.D. Crew. Never got off the first stage though.
Hahaha!

Still shocked how Golden Axe: Revenge of Death Adder was never ported to home.
I know, right.
I would like on Switch:
Arabian Fight
Dynamite Cop
Spikeout
Golden Age Revenge of Death Adder
