  • This is how to use the Shadow Conspiracy Chain Breaker tool, to cut their Interlock half link chain to the correct size, and reconnect it properly so the chain moves freely and doesn’t bind, and more importantly, will not break while you are riding your bike aggressively.
THANK YOU to Shadow and Bill Trimble for sending me this tool to use on my SE Bikes / Big BMX 🙏🏾

4:40 that's the hollow pin adapter....saw it on Brant Moore's channel (I didn't know either...) I just bought a halflink chain, 46years old, back to it after 20 years away (my 6 year old son got me back into it)

Does a Shadow chain require a Shadow chain tool to install it, sorry, I just have a very limited knowledge with BMX tech. Looking to get a Shadow chain but having to fork out for a tool just to instal It is an absolute liberty. Please respond thank you

@@tyedwinnell950 I couldn’t get that chrome pin in any other way, and it also doesn’t fit in the threaded driver. Part of the issue could be the difference between the 1/8” chain and the 3/32” chain

@@dadmodewheeliegang the pin is pushed in through the hole in the bottom of the tool, narrow tip first. Then it’s pushed throgh the links to hold them in place while turning the driver. You need to keep your finger on it to keep it from falling off.
