I remember reading that Bill Watterson was pretty adamant to Calvin & Hobbes merchandise. Sadly the only place we’ll ever see them is in comic strips, he didn’t even want them animated because then the voice actors could ruin the characters.
Ah yes, the nostalgia is strong with this one Love the minifigs, especially Tigger. He’s my favorite of the Pooh characters. The most wonderful thing about Tiggers is he’s the only one!
I believe Pooh Sticks is a game mentioned in the books where each person drops a stick from a bridge and the first one to appear from the other side is the winner.
I think Pooh would’ve been better off with a slip on mold instead of just a molded head. I feel like it would’ve given him that more bulky/chunkier look. The flat torso and molded head just looks a bit off to me.
Yeah but they obviously do not care or want to put p2 Cody in something and it would probably be an expensive set if we don't see p2 Cody in 2 years im going to be really disappointed.
These LEGO IDEAS Sets Are Getting So Nostalgic And Intricate.... It’s Sooooo GREAT To See!! It Looks Like A Fun Build.... One That Can DEFINITELY Be Enjoyed!! As Usual.... GREAT Content And Video.... Looking Forward To Your Next Video Soon Enough 😁👍🏼
That was my immediate thought when he was talking about the minifigs. I actually would have thought he would be by far the easiest one to include too since they wouldn't need any special molds.
Same thing for me. I had completely forgot about Winnie-the-Pooh until my sister reminded me of it and slowly a few memories started coming back. Then the movie came out, and now this set.
@@Brick-Life let me be the first to congratulate you on completely missing the gist if the comment! In case you haven't heard, "President" Xi isn't particularly fond of winnie the pooh due to the usage of it as a derogatory way of describing him.
Your right, like the Sesame St set, the child who’s interested is way too young to build it and few adults would be super interested. That said, I think you’re missing the intended purpose (or at least one intended purpose) and that’s for the parent to build and the child to play with. Especially if the parent loves lego in general and has two or more kids where the older kid can play with the younger kid. I’ll be buying this for my nieces and their dad who’s an architect. He will enjoy building it and they will enjoy playing with it. I’ll probably get it for my wife too who simply loves cute sets (think the gingerbread house) with lots of detail and builds to relax.
Gunship gang! Include the Jedi knight bob and phase II cody (At the very least...) or rebellion will come lego Jokes of course no bad examples for children
My wife is a Big Winnie the Pooh fan and I thought for sure she would love this set. and Since I collect Lego I thought she would want this set. I was wrong :( I think she just does not want to build the set because it would be taking up her time. But she is more practical that way.
I never really liked winnie the pooh as a kid but today i watched pooh’s heffalump movie and i loved it and now i need that set. Kinda sad there is no roo or kanga in it
I haven’t seen anyone mention that the 100 Acre Wood sign should actually read “Trespasers will”...but that probably couldn’t fly in a LEGO set even though it somehow does in the books and cartoons.
I'm nearly 24 and I still love Winnie the Pooh, the whole aesthetic of it just makes me so happy. I'd love to get this set, but it's always sold out online and in my area. Plus, I'm also in the process of moving, so spending $100 on a Lego set probably isn't the best financial decision right now.
The golden heart is actually tigger’s golden locket from the tigger movie
Cool
That was actually a great movie
I was just gonna comment that then saw this
I just realized how much I would LOVE to get a Lego Calvin & Hobbes set

I wish Lego made a custom mold for pooh's torso to give him the roundness so he looks just a little but more accurate
Or like a piece that goes between the legs and torso
@@tompatchak8706 that’s actually really smart. Lego did something like that before so it would’ve been a good idea to mold a piece for it.

The golden heart in Pooh's attic represents Tigger's locket from The Tigger Movie

That is one of the best interiors I've ever seen in lego.
Wow this brings back memories.. haven't watched this for years
The only thing I would have done differently would be to add a Christopher Robin figure
That was my immediate thought when he was talking about the minifigs. I actually would have thought he would be by far the easiest one to include too since they wouldn't need any special molds.
Obi Wan Kenobi minifigure🤣
I think everyone has extra bodies floating around to make one, I know I do
This give me major hopes for a jungle book set in the coming years
I love the set! The amount of new pieces is really exciting, I’ve never seen a mirror piece yet. Colourful
Winnie the Pooh was a huge part of my childhood, so I'll probably pick this set up. Glad they made it :)
I really like this set and the figures it comes with. I only wish it came with a few more characters like Kanga, Roo, Owl, and Christopher Robin.
Everyone wants the set for Pooh or tigger and I’m ready to drop $100 for Eeyore. Lol
lol, I wish they added Roo into the set

Winnie the pooh is actually based on the short Russian film from 1969 call vinnie-pukh. I grew up on that

I have a friend who is impossible to shop for. She's in her early 50's and doesn't seem to like much of anything. Like...seriously. >.
Each Winnie the Pooh character portrays a personality disorder. Eeyore- depression, rabbit- fear, and so on
Isn't tiger meant to be ADHD?
