Yes, it would be totally awesome to make a real village out of many different buildings like a tavern, the smith we have now, a guards post, a merchants place and a stronghold for the knights

As someone only now starting to get bigger display sets like this, building this was my best Lego building experience to date. I love how it looks in my office and I love the mini figures and storytelling
The thing about these sets is that they're very small, so they don't seem like they're worth it, but then you have to factor in the piece count, and it makes sense. I guess the building techniques make up for the size. (Edit) I think what I meant to say was it is quite compact for its piece count. I looked at the footprint and it is bigger than I originally thought. My mistake.
@@archimedes1825 I think a better word is compact. The set isn’t small but its roughly the same size as 80$ Ninjago sets. Granted this set is packed with detail and looks like a great build
They did black backgrounds in the instructions for a few 18+ sets and people had a hard time distinguishing dark-colored parts in each step, so that's why they're back to light backgrounds in the instructions.
This set is so aesthetically pleasing to me, thanks for the video. I didnt know it would look this good just from the pictures on the website, you just sold me on it.
I hope they make more of the black falcon sets (and knights/castle in general). I grew up with these sets and would love to see these come back. Also, the head for the horse as far as I can remember has always been posable, the back legs however have not... not sure when that changed.

First of all, I am 100% getting this set. Second, great review. Third, I noticed two peaces missing in your build. I don't know if the set didn't come with it or if you left them in the extra pieces pile, or whatever. The missing pieces that I noticed were: one of the bear's hind feet. And the handle on the basement door. (It should look like the door on the floor with the kitchen.) Just so you know, I am NOT criticizing.
I started building modular buildings since I was 7! That was 8 years ago and I've been building them ever since! So the part where you say that you can be a younger age to build this set defo stands true!

Just picked it up with a nice black friday discount and I love it. It's a shame that Lego doesn't keep this standard and quality with some other sets (Majisto workshop, Orient express etc.) And themes - Star Wars in particular.. because don't forget - ONLY THE BEST IS GOOD ENOUGH

Any tips on keeping the tree in place? Built it twice, disassembled because I thought I had it wrong, but the outer apple tree branches just won't stay on! 🍎😅
the instruction pages being a lighter background does work in it's favor, there were a lot of dark pieces to build and i would have had trouble seeing it on a dark background

I got this brand new today for 230 dollars in Europe, which is actually 50dollars less expensive if I would've ordered it from the US with the added shipping cost... but to me the price is well worth it especially compared to the lego Ideas Lighthouse for the same price and similar piece count.. this set is absolutely brilliant.
Although dan siskind is a lego rock star (his blacksmith shop was one of the first if not the first fan designed set that lego produced). The lego ideas set was based off clemens feidler’s lego ideas submission. Both are great sets.

For real though, to see Lego actually taking some of the Ideas sets seriously really is relieving.
I find the crooked bricks look nice, it makes it look mare aged.

This set is not very small... sure it’s not as big as the millennium falcon but the size is still very large

Really appreciated the reassembly part. That's honestly a helpful selling point that i can easily get into each section easily
