LYRICS (Finally): She wakes up in the morning and she paints her face She’s got big green eyeballs Got no time and so she has to race Early mornin’ arrival It’s 8:45 and she’s on the train, Pullin’ into the station There’s a boy in the corner The seats getting warmer He smells her sweet sweet perfume She is a keypunch operator, Calls me on the telephone Doesn’t let things complicate her Honey can I take you home? She sits in the office Those long legs she crosses Gives the boys an eye roll But they all stare But she doesn’t care She likes to work on Michael Isn’t life fun with a honey filled bun? I HOPE THIS GETS RELEASED ON CD, PREFERABLY A MEN AT WORK RARITIES ALBUM.
This was their first local single. The B side was an early version of their hit "Down Under."
Like to see what would happen if they re-released this today. has a certain charm to it
If I was in charge of things, I would reissue Two Hearts, and include all the missing rarities on that release.

@@starletohara1631 It IS a great concert, and that's the best lineup they had, in my opinion. It's a shame how things went down for them.

Fuerza y Espíritu en esta tempranera canción de nuestro querido¨Men At Work". Gracias por subir este temazo inédito.
I live in the states and I was a MAW fan from the get go (I was 6), never heard this one! I like it!
Better than I expected

LYRICS (Finally): She wakes up in the morning and she paints her face
She’s got big green eyeballs
Got no time and so she has to race
Early mornin’ arrival
It’s 8:45 and she’s on the train,
Pullin’ into the station
There’s a boy in the corner
The seats getting warmer
He smells her sweet sweet perfume
She is a keypunch operator,
Calls me on the telephone
Doesn’t let things complicate her
Honey can I take you home?
She sits in the office
Those long legs she crosses
Gives the boys an eye roll
But they all stare
But she doesn’t care
She likes to work on Michael
Isn’t life fun with a honey filled bun?
Cigarettes and coffee
She doesn’t stop ‘till 12 o’clock
She lunches in the city
She is a keypunch operator
Calls me on the telephone
Doesn’t let things complicate her
Honey can I take you home
It’s nearly 5, and things are alive
Takin’ it slow and easy
Gotta keep your strength until the end
And whip it up to a frenzy
C’mon baby don’t you work too late
Your cocktail’s blowin’ away
The neon lights and long long nights
It’s time to celebrate
She is a keypunch operator
Calls me on the telephone
Doesn’t let things complicate her
Honey can I take you home
She is a keypunch operator
Really likes the saxophone
Doesn’t let things complicate her
Honey can I take you home?
Honey can I take you home?
Honey can I take you home?

Wow, never saw this song before.
This was Men At Work's first single release...and the B-side? I kid you not: "Down Under."

Sounds like a JJ Cale song jazzed up a bit!
A bit like the Sports...not really into it.Sounds like early Paul Kelly and the dots as well. A bit too busy and cute for me.
