    i though the same thing and got the last one. was a msp hs. one thing you forgot is the fan on the inside does something on the msp . rs its just glued on after the mother board and gets crushed cause its in the middle by your ankle. oya and the big hole is not covered on the inside with the rs so i see water coming in from the wheel.

    Thank you for a direct and concise list of pros and cons ! One question --additional weight of RS not an issue ?

      The MSP and RS are pretty close, but if you're looking the older MSX that's noticeably thinner and lighter

    thanks for the video- does the RS have a bit more torque than the MSP though and a higher top speed? does the RS high speed even have more torque than the MSP high torque?

    • @electricvehicle6042

      My msp torque has more torque than the RS high speed. But torque on the high speed is more than enough. It’s very hard to tell differences as a light rider. At this point if you are under 200 lbs there really isn’t a benefit to getting the torque version of either RS or MSP. Maybe if you ride trails only and want to keep temps low, but most people of average weight should get speed versions since they will never get to torque limits of those anyway

      @@electricvehicle6042 thanks.. I'm 200 pounds right on the border.. And I ride trails and street about 50/50.. Been riding OneWheels for almost two years and understand almost any modern euc will be an improvement off road in terms of torque/power/hill climbing ability as well as top speed and range but there have been some inclines I've had to get off my Onewheel and carry until it becomes less steep and hope to avoid that with the euc.. in in Los Angeles and do ride a lot of hills here though a lot of flat too Based on that do you think the RS high speed will still have enough torque for hill climbing but still have the top speed of 40mph or best to still get the high torque version?

    • @electricvehicle6042

      @@justinspirational I would still get the high speed version, a lot of local riders around 230 lbs have the high speed and they have zero complaints about lack of torque. If you never plan on going above 33ish then the torque version will be fine. But if you plan to get near 40 then speed version is your only option.
      I had Onewheel for two years, honestly even the $599 dollar mten3 has way more torque than the Onewheel. We did side to side comparisons of the $599 gotway mten3 vs the $1800 Onewheel xr. It was able to go up inclines that were double the gradient that the Onewheel could. So you going to something like the RS is gonna be a huge change. Your only limit will be traction, not torque.

      @@electricvehicle6042 thank you.. Great feedback.. does the HT and HS versions come with the same tire and both reasonable enough traction off road still? Thank you

      @@electricvehicle6042 thank you.. Great feedback.. are those 'high speed' riders riding a lot of off road hills though? I'm in Los Angeles and there are lots of hills here on the road and off road.. that said most are still rideable with the OneWheel though some off road portions of the trails are too steep at my weight to ride and have to get off the OneWheel and carry it till it's less steep for a short period.. so long as I can still ride those steeper inclines off road that beat me with the OneWheel with the RS high speed still I'll be very happy

    The pedals on your MSP appear to be the Nikola pedals. That's unusual. Did you swap them yourself?

    Can you compare the range of those two wheels?

    • @electricvehicle6042
      @electricvehicle6042  4 года назад +1

      They both have the same sized battery, range should be the same theoretically. The new hollow motor may be more efficient and possibly may get a bit more. But for real life purposes it’s essentially the same.

      MSP and RS both have CST 1488 "18x3.0 street tire" that ends up in a diameter of roughly 19 inches
