    I was almost sold on the Veteran Sherman until I saw this and you mentioned the better torque. I am a heavier person and have read that I need a high torque / well cooled wheel to accommodate the extra load / heat generated on the wheel for me to go a medium speed. I have been thinking the Veteran Sherman would be a good wheel for me but I also have understood that a heavy wheel like the Sherman is very difficult to learn with for beginners because it is hard to control such weight. Do you have any suggestions? Would the RS be better for me? Looking for mostly street commuting, may run into a little gravel or cobblestones on occasion but not regularly.

    Disappointing range considering I was getting at similar speeds 70 KM range at 95KG bodyweight up to 60KM/h on my cheaper old generation 84V 1600Wh MSX . I was riding in warmer temperature however, but still.
    No mudguard! They just don't listen to their customers clearly. Sorry for the negativity but I personally see no reason to buy this wheel whatsoever. GW is lagging behind in the dust of the innovation of the Sherman and V11 with their continued uninspiring suitcase design and minor facelift model which gives less performance. The restricted max speed of the GW app tilt back setting lives on from the MSX days of old.

    Thanks for video. Looking forward to updates on it. Worth noting that the MSX also does not have that wait period when transitioning between forward and backward. Especially if you have it in hard mode. So that's not exclusive to the RS wheels. Also how come no comparison to the existing MSP :((((? I'm curious what the torque differences feel like compared to it? Especially because the RS torque and RS speed both have 2600 watt motors. So yeah I'm curious what differences you noticed in terms of power? The seat can actually be really nice if you add neoprene and baby foam on top and it adds a little bit of suspension. Charging at 10A will reduce battery life, maybe down to 80% after 300 cycles (more if you always charge to 100%), also do not leave EUC's unattended when charging generally, but especially so when charging at these high rates. Finally (then I will get off my horse) , if you have been riding hard the battery's will be hot, not a good time to be subjecting them to a 10A charge.

      I mean Sherman is in a league of it's own but it's also $1000 more. Gotway msp/ex/this one are all pretty much the best wheels if u want to save 40% $ while getting "most" of the performance.
      Sherman you dgaf about anything except topping out performance, over all else including compactibility and pricing value, but it seems to be "the chosen one" for non suspension wheels

      @@treasuredcollectibles thanks for the reply! The Sherman is definitely the best spec'ed wheel. My only concern is if the weight of it diminishes the "fun" factor. This will be my first uni so I'm not even sure if weight is a factor in the enjoyment of the ride and being agile or whatnot.

      I keep this on the forefront of my mind when riding. Whenever I see people on the sidewalk I purposefully visibly slowdown and then exit the lane they are in, then when I pass visibly speed up.
      I know I don't have to do this and I wouldn't hit them, but they may not know that and the "impression" is everything. We need to subliminally condition the populus that won't be riding these that at least their consensus as they are legit and safe

    Hey Speedy Feet, I have the RS Speed version on pre-order, however I am really having a hard time trying to decide if I should switch my order to the Torque version? It’s my first EUC. I just have this feeling that the torque will be more fun and useable power than a slightly higher cruising speed? And maybe the torque version will be better for gravel roads and trails where I live?
    All this considered, I weigh about 200 pounds, and It’s my understanding that the speed and torque version of this model is the same 2600 watt motor? So maybe the RS speed version is at least as torquey as the MSP Torque? What are all your thoughts on this?

    • @nathancatalano3301
      @nathancatalano3301 3 года назад

      Also, maybe it makes sense to say the speed version might be better for a person who lives in a largely paved/urban area and uses it to commute (such as New York or something) where as the torque might be more suited to someone like me who just uses it for joyriding and lives in a rural area with dirt roads and trails, etc.? Even though I am in Michigan and the terrain is pretty flat.

    • @Speedyfeetuk

      Cant see how you can really go wrong with the RS High Speed, its got plenty of torque, but will hold judgement until the Torque version is out and test them side by side.

    I so wanted to buy this but the speakers were a tacky design choice ...we have ear buds and phones for a reason we don't need noise coming from our EUC. It just created a weak point in the design by adding speakers. what do they think we using this for a boombox, or to get around and go fast in style. Really great design just ruined it with the weak spots in the design trying to make it a mobile boombox.
    on top of that why would you build a feature that uses valuable battery supply when speed and distance and Safety front and rear lights should be sole focus not a music player. So disappointed maybe they make a better EUC next time. IMO of course
