Ryzen 5 5600 and 6750xt at 1080p with high textures and everything else on medium it ran pretty well. Between 60-85 most of the time, the last mission though is an absolute disaster and I went in to the 30s
@@jesse76th96 I had my dynamic res set at 60 fps and it worked brilliantly throughout the game but on that mission it felt like I hit 480p and the fps was still a disaster.
@@zoiderama omg, just cause A LOT OF GAMES nowadays allows changing without restart, does not mean it applies to ALL GAMES. changing settings requires restart in older games too. there are even specific setting that require restart even though most settings can be instantly changed.

Running GREAT on my 5800X3D+3070 4K DLSS Quality with some Optimized Settings dialed-in. 70-80ish but no less than 60-65 on most demanding scenes. Dont know which is best to use Quality DLSS or Dynamic though 🤔

3070ti with a 5700X CPU and 32GB of RAM. Played at 1440p with FSR Dynamic Res Scaling to 60fps. Even on the first level, the framerate chugged down to 30fps when tons of enemies came on the screen and the resolution drops were huge. I think this game is too CPU heavy for me. I ended up refunding it but I might try it out at a later date.
According to HUB's video testing 40+ GPU's, on 1080p Ultra there is no difference in performance between a 4070 super and a 4090. That tells you all you need to know about how awfully CPU limited this game is.
@@ume-f5j it justifies the fact that from a certain gpu up there's no difference in performance because the game is cpu intensive, not gpu. More enemies to process, more calculations the cpu has to do, it's as simple as that. There's no magic about it.
The PROBLEM with Frame Gen is that it's a sunk cost, so the weaker the GPU the higher the percentage (thus less useful) it is. So, for example, if you managed to get 60FPS before FG and then got 80FPS after FG you are actually visually seeing 80FPS (more or less) but have the responsiveness of slightly below 40FPS (it's just doubling 40FPS). Plus, your CPU is going to matter a lot on how effective FG is. (People will really need to experiment but I consider 80FPS after FG for a game like this to be the bare minimum. I would have said I'd prefer 60FPS but on my GSync monitor there's a big difference VISUALLY where 80FPS looks quite noticeably better than 60FPS. Not just looking smooth, but the persistance image flicker issues. Will vary by the monitor. It's something NVidia Pulsar for monitors strives to fix (less issues at lower FPS)) **there's no right answer. It really varies by the game and the hardware you have

Using the PowerShell method also removes a lot of fps. This game is fckin horrible launching like this lmao guess I gotta buy the PS5 version to play 60fps with drops to 40. Then there's the short campaign. Imagine if they didn't add the bs PvP and focused on PvE. Don't buy it full price if you can. I'm gonna refund the steam license and see if I later can play co-op with someone when it's on sale. PS5 disc can be sold after you're done with it but idk how long the popularity will last. Really sad. This could have been awesome.
@@norsefrogeveryone different of course but my experience is drastically different from yours. Operations gives plenty of replay-ability, there’s a whole content roadmap planned so it will likely have longevity and although it’s not perfect, it runs very well for me at 90+ fps 🤷♂️
@YouLubeChannel It is true. A game cannot work your CPU more than 100%. If you CPU cannot run at 100% without overheating, you do not have adequate cooling, full stop. It probably wasn't necessary for the game to utilize the CPU so heavily, but that is beside the point. It's like having a car that will overheat if you floor it... you don't blame the driver for flooring it, as it should be able to handle that.
Does one of the them have any idea why CPU'S run so hot in this game? My 12900k gets hotter in this game, running at 20% usage than when it's a 50- 60% usage in other games. The only thing i can think of is that it's pushing one or two cores to the max and not using the others.

3080H 130watt-ish laptop, i7 11800K lots of windows settings turned to min-max performance - not getting 60fps when moving the camera in a quiet setting lmao. Turned everything down to lowest setting on 1080p laptop screen. This is worse than Darktide and ubisoft CPU crapfests
Why would you suffer through the pain of that game right now? Wait at least 6 months to a year, then maybe it will be in an acceptable "launch" state rather than the disaster it is currently.

I'm running DLSS Native, at 1440p, full settings on RTX 4080 Super, the way god intended, and I'm getting 100+ FPS. No upscaling needed, as a matter of fact I would advise against it.
In my experience that's way worse with dlss/dlaa , i tried running it at 1440p native taa and it looked reasonably sharp but with dlaa is a blurry mess

DF plays with blinders sometimes. it's clear as day how bady upscaling fucks up image quality, regardless of FSR or DLSS. DLSS is better, I guess.

R7 7700 and 7800xt everything on high. FR capped at 60. Vsync on. Ran at 60 my entire play through. Max cpu temp was 75c. Loved every second of it!

7800xt/5800x3d are perfect togeather for 1440p ultra but with fsr CPU starts to be a problem for 1080p CPU is real problem.

At 1440p you won't need up scaling at all, just run native and you should hit 100+ FPS on max settings.

It's known as cpu heavy. That's why the consoles are 30fps. A 11th gen intel is going to be behind even the consoles.
