It seems like LDAC is becoming quite the standard in earbuds nowadays, more and more companies are using it in all price ranges more often. Which is great to see. Also, as a fan of the game, they did really well with these.
fun fact! hoyoverse, the game company behind star rail, actually made a donation to a charity that provides hearing aids to children, since robin in game is also a philanthropist who often works with kids. i believe parts of the donation were from the sales of the robin earbuds (tho i may be mistaken on that front) overall tho it’s just really awesome to see a collab that’s actually good quality-all while introducing me to a great brand no less! really appreciate the review 👍
Very unique design and Moondrop has definitely been putting a special mark on their earbuds. Shame they have yet to add volume controls thru the app. Wish they were black and gold but overall worth checking out.
I was eyeing this up on their website since October and I thought it's gonna be 149.99 it being 99 leads it back to my budget and the sole reason I want this besides the others is it's not a stem style buds.
As a HSR player, I love that case design. I have her as E2S1, currently one of the strongest characters in the game. The actual buds.. I'd rather they were just a clean white/cream or maybe pearl. The audio sounds promising too.
You're doing a fantastic job! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
One day, if possible, I would like to see you review the FIIO BTR17, It is a bluetooth dac player that is really good and it is wireless charging for wired IEMs.
I have a set of Moondrop sparks that sound better than anything else I have. When I got them over a year ago and first listen to them, I wasn't really all that impressed. But I guess an update changed them because their sound quality now compared to my Momentum 3 TWS and a few other expensive higher end ones is better...more detailed and refined.
Thank you for the review! I was anxiously waiting for someone to post a review of these (you're one of my favorite reviewers by the way). I saw a post on Reddit a few months ago regarding this model, and I'm a big fan of planar tweeter drivers in earbuds in particular. I'm due to receive mine on December 30th! They sound like a winner. I like earbuds excellent noise cancelling because I work out in a noisy gym but like you, musical quality still comes first!😉
Hybrid drivers DD and planar are gettibg to be pretty common now. And they sound phenomenal. But cmf, realmi etc.are less than half this price. And oneplus flagship ofders dac chips on each earbud. So better options out theee
I wonder if any manufacturer will manufacture the drop thx panda in the iem form factor without dsp and use thx amps. The drop thx panda are bluetooth over the ear headphones that have a thx amp and don't use dsp. Most bluetooth devices use dsp which alters the audio and it's not true to what the artist intended when dsp. Audio will always be analog since they require a dac chip to convert to digital 1's and 0's to an analog signal to be played back on speakers and headphones. Unfortunately, dsp manipulates much like the audio like mqa and mqa is not true lossless audio and dsp colors the audio using filters, room correction software and an equalizer. When it comes to audio, I'm mainly not interested in not using dsp, no room correction software and no equalizer since I want a completely ruler flat frequency response since there are no peaks and dips since all the frequencys are all at the same levels with no alterations with zero compression and a well balanced dynamic range to hear all the details without being too quiet or too loud. It's meant for being the most accurate not for pure enjoyment, that's why studio monitors exist.
I've been scouring the web for a good review of these. Thank you man, honestly, you're always there for us! Mine are on the way and I'm just too excited 😂🤞
For Moondrop best are Variation yup those old skol audiophiles iem...others just..Peace! Btw ...hmm TWS, I had 2 of em while 1 just almost died..yup A40 by soundcore while the others earfun free 2s..yup those waterproof yet still alives..almost 4yrs.. Let's see how far could it takes..Perhaps 7yrs max..I mean compares to audiophiles iem, which last forever IF u know how to maintain it..ha4 .Peace2!

Bought these the second they dropped and have been waiting for your review on them ever since😂
They actually look quite nice. And great to see a stemless styling. Becoming sadly rare these days. Maybe 2025 will see a few more of those.
I sure hope so

Were you able to get the LE audio working on your phone?
Yep, worked fine on the Pixel 9 Pro
They look very nice... they remind me of Sabbatt 16s, if they were Anime.

Thank God these don't have treble extension as broad as the may's
Funny thing is that these use the exact same drivers as in the Moondrop May 😂
@@proxyhx2075not entirely the same

It's not really my cup of tea, but it's nice.

Man.. that was a read
Designs like these are a turnoff for me. I like anime, but not these kind of aesthetic.😊
Stem best
Horrible design 😮
May I ask why you think so?
No just no
What is this comment even supposed to mean?
Do you dislike the earbuds so much that you're at a loss of words?
Why "no"? Just curious...
