I used the planet map to land as close to where i live at now, (Midwestern US) and there was an Impact Crater had to be at least 1000m across. Not a planet killer by any means, but wouldve flattened my hometown without too much trouble for sure. No buildings anywhere though.
If you go to London there is a single skyscraper. You get the map marker by reading one of Charles Dickens' books. I don't know if there are any other landmarks. I heard a rumor that you can find the St. Louis Arch, but I haven't tried it myself.
Pickpocket the guy at the club penthouse for his key. Go up and take the book. Prince of destiny or something like that. It opens up the stl landmark. 2 books at sinclairs in akila city open earth landmarks aswell.
That's kind of disappointing. I'm sure it's incredibly hard to program wide ranges of biomes, but to make earth a one note desert with no major settlements kinda sucked. I would've settled for "earth was largely decolonized in favor of expanding to the stars, leaving large settlements as a testomont to mankinds origins."

Also implying that if there was life on Mars, we ended up like them.
It's a dead planet. It's realistic is what it is.

This entire game is disappointing.
idk about anyone else but when I saw this it made me sad to see earth destroyed like this I know it's just a game.
Only one major problem with the idea that it would look like a desert. A lack of atmosphere would mean erosion and biological degradation would be non-existent. Yes, buildings would collapse over a very long time from cosmic radiation but that time would far far longer than the timespan presented in the game's storyline.
There was a point where you were low on Oxygen and ran backwards to rebuild it. Haven't seen that anywhere else. Will try it.

5:40 and 6:25 - you need to loot gas and water NOT is scanner mode. Just turn off scanner, take gas from gaizer like you take loot from chest and turn scanner back on.
Why? I dont know. They just dont test their game at all, i think. Every human being will tell it's has no logic - you either cant loot at all in scanner mode, or you can loot everything.
You also should be able to use food and meds without taking them into inventory. Like every human-tester will tell you that.
You can also shoot rocks in space to get reagents from them. I guess it's space mining.
So, basically everywhere you land it looks the same.
Also you cant walk just straight because at some point it says you cant go further.. then it is a loading screen with another chunk with no connection to the old one

Why didn't you make an offer to Mr. Howard to lend your apparently prodigious, yet non-existent, programming talent to create a seamless render of the entire planet Earth with accurate geology, assets and landmarks while accounting for it being a dust bowl that's been abandoned for about two centuries in the game timeline then?

This game looks so boring. But it's on gamepass for free so I'd try it
It's a slow start if you want it to be... if not just go get arrested and you'll be put in prison and it'll start one of the crazy quests😂
