Why not use a padded molle belt instead of a non-molle belt with hard uncomfortable backing? Molle will keep your pouches from sliding around better than any velcro strip and since the belt is intended for the times when you don't have much clothing on, it would be much better to have a padded inner liner instead of the velcro strip.
Nice setup. Id only argue however to just leave it stock with the hook (scratchy) velcro on the belt inner and just get a loop strip for the inner liner attachment (as the back side of either is the same). It should still do the same thing of sandwiching items and would allow you the added option to wear it with any standard loop velcro belt in a pair of pants if desired... instead of just naked lol. :)
Good vid. Well thought out. Next to my bed is a flashlight with a powerful strobe to disorient the intruder. Also, a large tanto blade knife and some pepper spray.
