- Hi guys! Welcome to this building video in the Sims 4. Today I'm building Howl's Moving Castle from the famous Japanese animated fantasy film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. The film is loosely based on the 1986 novel of the same name by British author Diana Wynne Jones.
This special castle has a steampunk style and an interior based on iconic movie scenes.

I kept imagining how confusing this video is for someone who never watched the movie when you were saying stuff like "His bedroom was in a cave, but it was actually in a dream, and there was a lot of flowers and he accidentally dyed his hair" 😂

I would love to see Marnie's House from "When Marnie was there" it has a very elegant and mysterious aura. Also there would be a lot of work with the terrain tools bc it's set on a small island, so i believe that you are one of the few people to be able to recreate it😊 Lots of love from germany

Holy moly someone actually did the ultimate steampunk challenge that is Howls Moving Castle in the sims.
I've been on this site for 10 years and thought nothing amazes me anymore, but your videos are among the few ones that still wow me. Your builds are awesome, the creativity and patience and sheer amount of time and effort are mindblowing.
WOW you just did Calcifer`s job!!! It`s so gorgeous, when building just appears around fireplace! I`m totally impressed!
Btw, I LOVE that you used the scarecrow for Turnip Head. I hope ppl who love this movie saw that too! it's such a cool detail!

What the hell...I mean WHAT...HOW?! I literally just watched how but HOW?! This is incredible. You’ve done some amazing creative builds and I could never rate them but this one is up there for sure. Just the detail, the smoke from the chimneys, the wings, the outcroppings and pipes and the face! It looks exactly like the Castle. And the inside? Amazing. You got a fully functional house in there and still made it look just like the film. You have Calcifer! I’m blown away. Completely blown away. You are so supremely skilled, talented, creative, and dedicated. Just, bravo 🎉🎉🎉

It looks like the scene at the lake, when the castle stops so Sofie could do laundry.

I got overly excited and word vomited, so after watching the video I return to say this:
I love this so very much. Howl's moving castle is very dear to me. and i never even thought it would be possible to recreate it in the sims. You did an amazing job and I want to thank you for this gift of creativity and ingenuity. You always astound me.
Again, I poured myself a glass of wine and started the video. When the end video tour started, I had to call my son (15yo) to watch. We have both seen this movie many times. He was impressed and complimented the details. He was about to leave when I told him "now begins the inside". You should've seen his face! "There's an inside as well?! Also according the movie? Respect!" He was flabbergasted. And so was I. So, greetings from Finland, Helsinki; You're awesome!

Wonderful job!!! I was playing the Sims when I saw that you downloaded it and I got it before I saw the video, which is the first for me. The part of the movie I really liked the best is when Sofie straightens up the castle and rearraigns everything. He comes out with hair that is changing colors. He is yelling at her, she is just looking at it and saying, "What a pretty color!!" LOL!!! I would really like it if you could do the bakery where Kiki stays in Kiki's Delivery service, that or the clock tower, or her friends cabin in the woods, or you could even do the dirigible "The Spirit of Freedom"! Now that we have ROM I think people can make a lot of these builds.

It's impressive how you achieved to capture the details in some way, it's just perfect, I can believe you keep making these masterpieces in Sims 4. It totally worthed seeing the movie three times in a row! haha. I LOVE your builds, they are amazing creations, you really should try doing 3D things someday, you have an overflowing creativity.
Would you consider doing something from Final Fantasy VII remake? It has the postapocaliptic look that you like so I think you could have much fun with it! :D

So amazing! It really captures the feel of the movie. I don't know if you ever build things without visual references, but the castle from Diana Wynne Jones's Chrestomanci series would make such an amazing build! I actually am doing a gameplay inspired by that series (Edwardian Period meets Magic)
People say this for EVERYTHING these days. But this is underrated. The fact that you could do anything close to this in the Sims 4, let alone get it almost perfect is AMAZING. This deserves a million views on day one. I guess people aren't interested in The Sims 4 anymore, because otherwise this definitely would be getting so many more views.

I absolutely love this! I'm a huge steampunk junkie and Howl and Astroboy basically started my whole obsession from early age... This is just great! I especially love the interier... The stairs!! ✨✨✨ Just as chaotic as in the movie!

Amazing Irene! I usually keep a notebook next to me when I watch your speed builds to jot down notes. Notes about techniques and items you use that inspire me. On this build, I gave up! There was just too much to take in and I am totally in love! I will have to watch this video again to focus on your techniques. Incidentally, sticking the scarecrow in the side like Turnip Head really made me laugh!
