On one hand it would have been good to show how to build it perfectly. But, I like to add my screw ups to show that it's okay to make mistakes, we all do it lol
I feel like this is over complicated. Why do you use the ice shoot instead of just using hoppers? You could get rid of half of this, have it easily expandable and use rails and minecarts to get the piglins into their cages, that way they don't mess around and they are shorter allowing you to put droppers directly overhead of each piglin.
Thanks for the guide. I don't understand why my filter blocks keeps being automatically placed in the chests sometimes. Every hopper config is correct I've checked it many times, but sometimes the bottom hopper has less than 64.
So you need to put the slime blocks back in front of the pistons, and I think you broke some leaves so you will likely need to replace 1 or 2 of those. That's really all it is.
Hey your tutorials are really great! I was wondering if you have a world download where you have your goldfarm together with this bartering farm so I could see how to link them together
I was working on one, but since the crafter is coming soon, I figured I'd wait for that to make the ultimate gold farm auto crafted bartering farm. I'll release it eventually 😁
Hi man i did this farm it works really well, but when i turn it on then go to the dropper and fill it with gold, the gold is like being exploded from the dropper like someone just threw it out
Hello I am playing on paper multiplayer server and the items aren’t getting sorted fast enough and the excess that was not able to be sorted started flying straight into the fire
One thing you can try is using regular ice instead of packed ice, that might slow things down enough for the server. If not, you will probably have to add more filters than I show off in the video. Hope this helps.
It works well, however I was having issues with items getting lost over the top of the first hopper in the sorting system/flying off next to the chest. I just put a second double chest there and extended the sorting system out 2 extra blocks and that fixed it though. Occasionally I would lose items next to the tripwire as well so I put an extra leaf block on each side of the tripwire block closer to the lever. Not sure why this was happening, my guess was too many items at a time. Edit: Still lost a couple under the tripwire hooks themselves, so I went 1 block below the tripwire hooks and put a hopper on each side leading to an "overflow" chest next to the redstone lamp. Edit 2: It seems like the issue is only happening when I am more than 1 chunk away from the slime block launchers. If I am in the same or an adjacent chunk, it runs fine. If I am at the very end of the sorting line, however, all the items are getting picked up in this overflow chest.
That's my guess, too. That is unfortunate. Maybe you can figure out the specifics of the server changes and tweak the storage to fit that. Best of luck to you! I hope it works out.
Sorting system worked great for 20 minutes of using the farm, and now ALL items just gets burned, and no chest arent full and yes i checked if filters still works, and to be sure i rebuild the whole sorting system twice
Hey, how would you attach an unstackable item filter to the end to filter out all of the enchantment books and fire res potions/splash potions out of the remaining items? I know how to make an allay item sorter but this is the nether and you need flowing water to transport the items over the allays..
Hey my item filter keeps on breaking I did everything correct and even used you schematic but the comparator doesn't light up and as soon as i run the farm the sorter breaks idk why this happened ive made hundreds of sorters like this but this one keeps on breaking
Please rewatch the portion of the video where I set up a storage slice. I go block by block and show every step of the way. If the item sorter still does not work, I am lead to believe you're playing a modded version that changes the mechanics of hoppers to save on performance. Best of luck!
was all fun and games till leaving the lever off like you did resulted in 8 piglans being released. great fun trying to repair everything for an hour and more and moving them around again
If you're running vanilla java edition you may have missed a step or two during the tutorial. If you're on a server, it seems likely that hopper item intake speed was reduced to help with lag. Sadly you'll have to invent a item collection system specifically for your server. Best of luck!
No, that should only happen if the filter is full. I'd check to see if any items are getting picked up by your filters. If not there's your problem. If yes, then you might wanna try replacing the ice with regular ice to slow items down.
yes filters are picking up items. I swapped to ice instead of packed ice and still having the same problem. I'm tinkering with it but cant seem to figure it out. maybe its a paper thing. does this farm only work in vanilla? @@mrbarebunz
This was built and tested in vanilla. That said other users seem to be able to get it to work on paper from what I can tell. Not sure how yours may be different.
Have the same issue on my server. Items aren't getting up by properly arranged filters. Hitboxes of items are sliding over the edge of the hoppers but not getting sucks in as if the items are moving to quickly. Not sure if just adding more filters would be a efficient solution. . .
I ended up just bouncing the items back and forth and they eventually get picked up by the hoppers. I added allays to grab up the non stackable items and toss them in a hopper line to get burnt. I dont really know what the problem is because it works perfectly in vanilla. Maybe a server tick rate issue or something. idk I'm not a technical player really.
The farm doesn´t work for me, i think i´ve done everything right but when i tested out the farm they all fell down from their chamber, idk what i did worng but if you know please help me.
So, it sounds like you may have made the same mistake I showed in the video... But, I didn't do a great job at showing how to fix it. Your slimeblock pushers probably broke a few leaf blocks, I think 2 exactly. So, you will have to replace those. After that, you'll need to get the piglins back in the chamber and try again. It might be a good idea to go through the video at 2x speed to double-check everything is in the right place. I hope it works! 🙏
Hey broo nice tutorial, but doesn't this resemble logicalGeekyboys's design? Sorry if I am mistaken but having seen his farm first it why I am saying this.
Not entirely sure, I designed this farm trying not to look at anyone else's homework. All I looked up was how others were handling the item storage aspect. If they are similar that was not intentional, we arrived to a similar conclusion if that is the case.
@dinalagos5865 you can totally build this on the nether roof in java 1.20.1, bedrock users cannot build above the nether roof. If you are on a server, ask the server owner to change this value for bedrock players.
if i want to make this farm(huge farm that required more piglin) right under gold farm, would the zombie piglin spawning less as usual at gold farm or doesn’t give significant effect?

Hey man, the piglins are being pulled out the side when the first piston retracts is this because im on bedrock?
probably didnt use a leaf block above slime, any solid block including glass will stick to the slime and be pulled with it pushing the piglins out
My problem is the pistons push them into the leaf blocks
It works well, however I was having issues with items getting lost over the top of the first hopper in the sorting system/flying off next to the chest. I just put a second double chest there and extended the sorting system out 2 extra blocks and that fixed it though.
